Learning a mature system is strikingly different than a developing system. ➥ Crypto wallets are quietly racing ahead of blockchains on quantum security There’s a growing concern in the background of crypto: Most wallets and blockchains today rely on cryptography that future quantum computers could eventually break. The issue is not immediate, but it is no longer theoretical. So instead of waiting for full protocol upgrades across Bitcoin or Ethereum, wallet providers are moving first. What’s already happening: → wallets are testing post quantum cryptography in real environments → MPC systems are being upgraded with stronger security assumptions → new signature schemes are being explored for long term protection Why this shift matters: It’s significantly easier to upgrade a wallet than to change a global blockchain protocol. So the current strategy is simple: strengthen the edges now and fix the base layer later. But there’s an important limitation: Even if wallets become quantum resistant, they still depend on the underlying blockchain. So if the base layer is vulnerable, the system is still exposed. Big picture: Quantum risk is moving from theory into planning and the industry is now converging on a shared ground: wallet security, transaction signatures, and blockchain cryptography will eventually need to evolve together and not separately.

Honestly, the MEV problem in crypto is bigger than most people realize. Front running, sandwich attacks, transaction manipulation… it quietly damages trust and user experience across DeFi. What I found interesting about @NomismaNetwork is that they’re trying to remove the incentive structure itself. → No gas bidding wars → No validator tip competition → No auction style transaction ordering That matters even more for AI driven systems where predictable execution is critical, especially important if AI agents become more active on chain. Automation only works properly when execution is predictable and fair. I also think their rate limiting approach is smart. Instead of relying on expensive gas fees to stop spam, Nomisma manages throughput directly at the infrastructure level. Feels more sustainable long term for high frequency applications and AI coordination!

A lot of blockchains focus heavily on TPS... but high TPS alone doesn’t solve coordination, storage efficiency, or developer experience. That’s why @NomismaNetwork caught my interest! The relational database model changes how applications can actually manage on chain data because of the relational database approach through Rell. Instead of forcing developers into rigid storage models, it allows applications to manage structured on chain data much more naturally. Things like : → AI agents → Order books → Gaming systems → DePIN coordination → Dynamic NFTs Become much easier when the data layer is structured properly. The subchain structure is also smart. Apps can scale independently while still coordinating through Nomisma L1. And honestly, the gasless model might be one of the most important parts. Normal users don’t want to think about gas every time they interact on chain. Nomisma feels like it’s designing infrastructure around usability first!
