What web2app funnel provider is most popular atm? Had a call with Funnelfox, however their pricing is too high to start without validating the web funnel first I heard Appfunnel is also great, web2wave seems popular too. Curious if there are any others I missed

I can't believe there's no simple e-ink chess board in market. I've replaced all endless scroll apps with Chess.com. I love the headspace chess (even poorly) puts me in, but I dislike being attached to my phone to do it. A $100 standalone gadget like this would be so nice to have around.

During today's stream I'll show you exactly what we're doing with that $5M ARR app: 🍩 The paywalls it uses (and why) 🍩 The experiments we've run (including many app2web tests) 🍩 Features we're building that are feature-flagged to that account (top secret 🤫)

About 1.5 years ago, @RevenueCat acquired a subscription app doing ~$5M ARR We didn't buy it to pivot. We bought it so we could test new features without risking our customers' revenue, and - later today - I'm opening up the hood on it live 🧵

@Siron93 her pricing is actually really interesting. 2 week trial -> weekly price. BUT if you go to cancel she offers a monthly sub.

imagine making $100K/mo from a manifestation app that launched 3 months ago. with 65K installs/mo and the paywall is a "note from the team" saying they have too much demand. -asks for notification permission and an App Store RATING before you've even used the app - referral code prompt early in the flow. growth loop from step one - asks your name, city, sexuality, age, kids, what you do for work, how you feel about it - you add important people BY NAME and describe them - asks what you're manifesting, your dream city, dream home type, dream partner - generates personalized audio stories from ALL of this. daily - the paywall is a "note from the team" saying they have overwhelming demand - the trial as helping "manage the load and keep things smooth for all" - single price. $6.99/week. no annual. no monthly. no decoy. just one option

@seraleev I was so surprised to see the app back into the App Store tbh. Small app devs could never get it back…

Apple has commented on the reasons behind Cal AI removal for TechCrunch and it wasn’t about external payments. There were multiple violations: First, the app removed Apple IAP as a payment option, replacing it with an embedded Stripe flow, a violation of Guideline 3.1.1, which requires IAP to be offered alongside any external link. Second, the paywall was designed to mislead users: the weekly price was displayed more prominently than the actual amount billed, a violation of Guideline 3.1.2c. Third, users who declined the first paywall were shown a second offer with different terms. This triggered a wave of negative reviews accusing the app of being a scam. After the developers made the necessary changes, Apple reinstated the app. A telling story: remove the app and explain why. A clear message to developers about what is not allowed. Shortly after Cal AI returned, Apple also removed many copycat apps.

@JedBridges @BrettFromDJ I use Figma every day and I love it, but I would never ever invest in it. Figma could be completely replaced by a new thing next year. Just like Claude btw.

If you've been on X for more than 5 mins today, you'd think Figma was dead. But if you spent another 5 mins into looking into Claude Design, you'd realize it's the exact same product we had access to before, but with a different UI.
