.@spencerpratt's mayoral run is a blatant grift. He's weaponizing the wildfires for sympathy while chasing taxpayer-funded perks, including the mayor's mansion.
When questions surfaced about his eligibility after moving to his parents' Santa Barbara County home, he took out an SBA loan, bought an Airstream trailer, and had it craned onto his burned Pacific Palisades lot just to manufacture LA residency for his campaign.
Why should anyone trust him to manage a city when he couldn't manage his own checkbook? He and Heidi torched $10 million on her failed music career, $4,000 bottles of wine, and a million-dollar crystal collection before nearly declaring bankruptcy.
Now he wants access to City Hall and all the perks that come with it?

Had to take an Uber home from LAX (husband must be spared of LAX rush hour pick-up) and my Chinese driver got pulled over for carpool lane violations and she couldnt understand the CHP guy and then she got lost and I just dont have it in my heart to ask for a fare reduction because she was so upset but it did take over 2 hours to get home

Well, part of their mission statement is they want an end to pet ownership. Their shelter has an insanely high kill rate (they say because the animals are un-adoptable and it's the humane thing to do), PETA employees were sued after "rescuing" a healthy chihuahua in a mobile home park and euthanizing it within 24 hours. I would argue that the state of Skid row dogs would 100% meet their guideline of un-adoptable and they would say it was only humane to euthanize.

NEW: Homeless addicts on Skid Row in LA are now using dogs to test their drugs for fentanyl. They feed the dogs the drugs first. If the dog survives, they take it themselves. If not, they just get another dog. A nonprofit called ‘Starts With One Today’ is sounding the alarm: dogs are being abused, neglected, thrown away, sold for drugs, and used as living test kits. This is the disgusting reality of what unchecked homelessness and drug policies have created in California. Dogs are paying the price for failed leadership.

This is actually a really good point, and you may have gotten me on your side. Having watched so many trials, the approach of DAs and even judges to high-paid defense lawyers vs public defenders is gross, and it would make sense that that trickles all the way down to actual arrest. I hate that.
