I would respect anti-war positions a hundred times more if they didn’t 1/ rest on Jew-hatred 2/ lie about what Iranians want 3/ romanticize the oppressive regime 4/ blame the regime’s evils on “muh CIA” 5/ dismiss Iranian protesters as “Zionist shills” or “bots” 6/ pretend the regime’s regional proxy wars don’t exist 7/ pretend that international law will ever solve situations like this 8/ deny or downplay the regime’s nuclear ambitions and threats to global stability 9/ act as if isolationism is a stable long term policy 10/ ignore the regime’s brutal human rights abuses, including executions, torture, and suppression of women and minorities

Yes, we know perfectly well that the United States of America only looks out for its own interests before any other matter, and believe us, neither the Iranians nor the Venezuelans care. Please spare us the repetition of the same thing every five minutes. What we do care about is that the criminal regimes that hold our nations hostage disappear from the face of the Earth. Therefore, we will celebrate any harm suffered by these cursed regimes, with or without the USA involved. If this bothers you, not only do we not care, we love it. Anyone who is with the Venezuelan regime or with the Iranian Islamists is our enemy, and seeing our enemies cry is always satisfying. Thank you for your attention... to this matter 🤭

Literally every single Iranian in every major Iranian city I have spoken to has confirmed the following three things: 1. They have personally witnessed IRGC and basij forces threatening them on the streets, in some cases shooting at apartment buildings. 2. They have personally witnessed forces moving into schools and mosques to use for military purposes including transferring weapons and gear. 3. The people are cheering on the airstrikes on regime sites, thanking the US and Israel, and don’t want the US or Israel to stop attacking the regime.

If you still don’t understand what people mean when they say “toxic empathy,” maybe this picture can help. Here we have a liberal white woman marching down the streets of NYC, carrying a sign mourning the recently slain dictator Ali Khamenei, a man who supported marriage to 9-year-olds, mandated hijab under threat of arrest and flogging, oversaw the punishment of women who removed their headscarves in protest, and imprisoned female activists for decades. In her other hand, she holds a sign that says “Globalize the intifada,” as in, “Bring these draconian laws to my own backyard.” The regime she’s defending would imprison or kill her for standing on that street corner with that sign, especially with her head uncovered. Don’t they make Darwin Awards for this crap?

Imagine being Iranian. First the regime speaks over you. Then the woke left speaks over you. Then the woke right speaks over you. All three have formed an alliance to suffocate truth for their narrative. And your voice is just… buried under their triangulation of doom.

As an Iranian living inside my country during war, I will say this plainly. The chance of me being killed by masked, armed men roaming the streets, or by gunmen standing on mosque rooftops behind machine guns, is far greater than the chance of dying in an airstrike. That is the truth of life under the Islamic Regime occupying Iran. The real fear here has never come from the sky. It has always come from the men the regime unleashes among its own people. #Irán #IranIsraelWar

I’ve noticed a big number of “activists” are only looking for something to oppose so they can build their whole character upon that. It’s completely personal. With zero research, knowledge and credibility, their “activism” makes mockery of even the most serious issues.

@rezagr_74 @hotaav If that happened here, the people would absolutely end the government. We had an attempt to hold onto power where one person died and the President was on the verge of impeachment. Iran, they did nothing. Nothing. Which suggests that the majority didn't agree with the protests.

You can talk about the IRGC and the mullahs and claim to be anti-war, but you say nothing about 90 hours of INTERNET BLACKOUT, about 90 million people held hostage, about the lack of any shelters for civilians, or about more than 30,000 people who were killed by IRGC!!!

Please I beg western leftists to stop seeing politics as “pro US” or “anti US” there is so much more nuance needed when analyzing, it’s getting exhausting being spoken over by people who fall so easily for IR propaganda. U know they rely on you guys to justify their crimes right?
