It’s incredible how arrogant this is. Rae Huang has been polling in the low single digits for months and has been unable to fundraise any meaningful amount of money. Rather than realize that the “community” doesn’t want her, her supporters pivot and blame Nithya Raman.

Nithya’s campaign did exactly what it was intended to do. Block Rae Huang and prevent any real change from happening. Rae Huang was asked by her community to run. Nithya was asked by the people who want to ensure their profits continue.

Do I think she is solely to blame? Of course not. But I lived in her district her entire time in office and in that entire time it only got worse. So, the "look what I did in my district, I want to roll that out city wide" is only a good argument for people who didn't live in her district...

The thing about this Mayor race that has me losing my mind is that "only I can fix the problem THEY created" is a political campaign as old as time, but to hear them say it when THEY have both been in office for YEARS is truly mind boggling stuff.
