the strokes don't really make sense to me. they carry themselves with an ostentatiousness that would only really make sense if they'd made something as unimpeachable as "mr. brightside," while the guys who actually did make "mr. brightside" are polite to a fault

Some of Bob’s albums are obviously better than others (subjectively speaking of course). However, I think it’s fair to say these two could literally do battle until the end of time and there would still be no clear winner. Both are masterpieces. Both are massively influential. Both have great covers. Both are epic. Both are never very far away from my turntable. These albums are the absolute b******s and stand up against anything by anybody.

@naranciagaming This is why Pokemon feels worse from Gen 3 onward. The classic sprites feel artistic, expressive and eyepopping. Gen 3 onward they're flat stickers, no longer 3D, and with diminished personality. Your activated imagination trumps imperfect realism.

@musey101 I recommend 8 next. 10 takes far too many notes from 7, and even 9 feels hollowly like it's drawing from the same template. I wouldn't recommend going 2D until your curiosity is drawn to them specifically.

Mother 3 is cool and all but the game borders on the line of visual novels for me. Each game got more and more linear as the series went on and I think it’s worse off for it
