Update: I have double pneumonia, but I’m stable and being treated. I’m receiving a nebulizer treatment now and will continue antibiotics and breathing treatments at home.
Thank you all for the prayers, they’re felt. 🙏

“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.” Jeremiah 17:14
There are two kinds of wounds that pierce the human soul. One is sorrow. The other is guilt.
Sorrow is a clean wound. It comes through loss, suffering, disappointment, and grief. Though it cuts deeply, it is not poisoned. Over time, the Holy Spirit tends it gently. Scripture says God binds up the brokenhearted Psalm 147:3. He pours in the oil of gladness Isaiah 61:3. Through prayer, tears, and the quiet work of grace, sorrow heals. Time does not heal by itself. God heals through time.
Guilt is different. Guilt is a polluted wound. It does not heal on its own. It festers. It hardens the heart. David knew this when he said, “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away” Psalm 32:3. Guilt cannot be soothed by time, distraction, or self-forgiveness. It must be cleansed.
Only the cross provides the antiseptic. “The blood of Jesus… cleanses us from all sin” 1 John 1:7. Until sin is exposed, confessed, and brought into the light, the wound remains infected. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us” 1 John 1:9. Forgiveness is not God ignoring sin. It is God dealing with it fully in Christ.
A slave fears punishment. A son fears displeasing the one he loves. “You did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption” Romans 8:15. That holy grief over sin is not condemnation. It is grace calling us home.
If you are carrying guilt today, do not hide it. Do not justify it. Ask the Holy Spirit to search you Psalm 139:23. Let Him expose what He already knows. Bring it to Christ. There is no healing apart from confession, and no forgiveness apart from the cross.
Where sin is confessed, joy returns. “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven” Psalm 32:1.

Dear Lord, our Father in Heaven, as we begin this day, we ask for Your guidance and inspiration in all that we do. Help us to discern Your will for our lives and follow it with faith and courage. Give us wisdom to make good choices, and strength to face the difficult challenges of the day. Fill us with Your love, joy, and peace, and help us to share these gifts with those around us. Use us as an instrument of Your grace and mercy in the world. Protect us from all that is evil, help us resist temptation and to pursue all that is good. Above all, help us to love and serve You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let our life be a reflection of Your grace and goodness to all those in our lives. May Your Holy Spirit spark our faith, our hope and our love into action each day and fill our lives with wonder and awe in Your presence which penetrates all creation. In Jesus name we pray, Amen 🙏✝️
Romans 15: 13
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

No matter how bad your day might have been, God still sent His Only Begotten Son into the world so that whosoever may believe in Him shall not perish. The enemy may try to take our joy, but he can’t take our Jesus, our salvation, nor our eternal life. GOD IS GOOD. All the time.
Romans 8:38-39 NKJV
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Judy is my husband’s grandfather’s second wife and she is a beautiful soul. She made me feel welcome when no one else did, and I will never forget that.
She’s entering hospice and in the final stage of cancer. Please pray for her comfort and peace, and for her family as they walk through this season. 🙏🏻🤍

Tell a friend, family member or loved one about Jesus today.
The days are growing darker.
The enemy knows his time is nearing the end & he’s like a ravenous lion out to steal, kill & destroy all in his path.
Today is the day for salvation!
Eternal salvation found only in Christ Jesus the Savior of the whole world.

Jesus said, “When you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret” (Matthew 6:6). That secret place is not a hiding place from God. It is the place where all hiding ends. Prayer does not conceal the heart. It exposes it. You do not enter the secret place to manage appearances, but to stand naked before the God “to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13).
Sin survives on darkness. Prayer drags the soul into the light. “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my thoughts” (Psalm 139:23). A man who prays like that is not negotiating with sin. He is inviting divine scrutiny. And Scripture is clear, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3). The man who knows he is fully seen cannot long remain comfortable with a double life.
This is why private prayer always precedes public holiness. Holiness does not begin with behavior management but with communion. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands… purify your hearts” (James 4:8). Nearness to God brings cleansing, not concealment. When a man regularly bows before a holy God, hidden sin becomes intolerable.
John puts it plainly. “If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). Walking in the light is not perfection. It is honesty. Prayer done rightly keeps a man in that light.
The closed door is not where sin is protected. It is where sin is exposed, confronted, and put to death. The man who guards his secret prayer life will find that his secret sins lose its power.

Stephan has been hanging out with Jehovah’s witnesses but doesn’t really know what to believe. I helped clear things up by comparing my kjb, which is based on 5716 greeek manuscripts and the oldest bibles in history, to his JW and CSB bibles, put together by heretics who neither liked nor believed the Bible.(I’ve spent 13 years researching this issue as a long time NASB guy. My research is here: followingjesuschrist3.com/2015/10/24/the…
He agreed to let me trash his bibles and replace them with the word of God. It’s going to be hard for him to stay away from the JW’s so please pray for his salvation and loyalty to Jesus Christ and his words.
Sandra is homeless and needed a few things. Fortunately I had some helpful items thanks to my church. I talked to her for a good while about eternity and the painful but short term nature of this sick and dying world. Plz pray for her salvation too. She is a sweet one. ✝️

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, as we marvel at the beauty and wonder of Your creation, let us be filled with gratitude and reminded of Your presence in every sunrise and every breath we take. Grant us the gift of empathy to see through the eyes of others and understand their joys and sorrows. Enlarge our souls, expand our minds and soften our hearts towards all who suffer. We pray our hearts become an instrument of Your own merciful heart. In any way that we lack the empathy and compassion flowing from Your heart, bring us healing. Open our eyes and let us see those around us in need of Your compassion and care, that we may share in Your mercy. Our deep desire is to share in Your life and love so that our heart may become like unto Yours. Through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen 🙏✝️
2Corinthians 1: 3,4
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

God sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. God allows those who blaspheme him air to breathe and I see Christians rejoicing in the death of a sinner who likely died without Jesus Christ.
Are you better than God?

I’m so thankful that we’re never truly alone.
Psalm 139:7-12
Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
