@sarobertsonca Well had we nationalized oil maybe we would have had an oil reserve and a pipeline to the east as planned. Oh wait Alberta didn't want it and Mulroney scrapped it in 85.

Pierre Poilievre on the value of a strategic oil reserve: "A strategic reserve would have allowed us to profit massively from these price spikes at the same time as contributing to relief at the pump for consumers."

I’m 30min into the Joe Rogan podcast and Pierre has already done more to get us closer to a tariff free deal and knock off Trumps 51st state comments than Carney has done in a year. I can’t believe we didn’t elect this guy.

@TemplerRising @ABDanielleSmith @PierrePoilievre Dumbasses we had a plan and a crown corporation to do it. It was called Petro Canada. You are the architects of your own demise by electing a Conservative provincial government's that have mismanaged Alberta.

@ABDanielleSmith @PierrePoilievre Which is why Alberta needs a pipeline corridor to tidewater via the NW United States.. B.C. & the east are not Canadian anymore and we need to quit relying on them to flourish.

Joe Rogan is 100% correct: Alberta is a truly amazing place with some incredibly hardworking people! And to my friend @PierrePoilievre's point— Mr. Rogan, consider this your official invitation to come back to Alberta this summer and visit the greatest outdoor show on earth, the Calgary Stampede.

@mark_slapinski Mark you should base your politics on policy, not on personality. There are bad actors on both sides but one ideology builds up society (Conservatives) and the other side destroys society (Leftists). Please don't be so naive.

I used to talk about Canadian politics from a Right-wing perspective. This year, I became extremely worried about Trump's behaviour. Right-wingers in my country tried to cancel me for speaking the truth, so I said "good bye."

I cannot wait to watch this. Seriously. Like watching a child pretend he's an adult, chop it up with a podcaster who hates the country the child wants to lead. If you thought Poilievre was legit, this will be the end of that thought. OH, and Pee Pee begged Rogan for this. Confirmed.

BREAKING: Statistics Canada data shows we lost 84,000 jobs in February, most of them from the private sector. Mark Carney has delivered the only shrinking economy and the worst food inflation among G7 countries. We must remove this Liberal government’s barriers blocking investment and growth, and fight for tariff-free trade to protect 🇨🇦 jobs and power paycheques.

WOW - Liberal Artificial Intelligence: The Liberal Minister of Artificial Intelligence blames terrible Job Numbers on the war in the Middle East. The war started February 28th, long after the latest data was collected. If you believe Evan’s excuses, then he probably also has some art to sell you. Over 100k full-time job losses in one month. Canadians want jobs, not Liberal excuses.

@MelissaLantsman The US is the largest exporter of oil in the world! They revised GDP down to .7% and lost jobs in Feb. You are TO obtuse to realize that regardless of how much oil you pump ( which has been a record for Canada) you can't runaway from what Trump has done.

If the government boasts every day about what a “great economy” it has built, then it can certainly shoulder the criticism for the result of the most reckless and regressive immigration policy that sold out a generation of young Canadians, the anti energy laws they gave themselves the powers to undo and didn’t, the exploding deficits the many many thing we can control. But go on…
Marc Lévesque@MarcLevesqueEco

Oh C’mon. Trump has unleashed economic turmoil across the world and you blame OUR government? You think this is OUR fault? Tired of politicians either taking credit for job gains (at least we won’t have the Libs going there this time) or blaming their opponents for job losses.

Why is Mark Carney telling everyone that we created 80,000 jobs in the past 6 months, when the best month we had, were part-time jobs? He wants all the adults working at Tim Horton's, And the mean little Champagne kid is praising lower NSF fees for Horton workers 😭😭😭

What makes the reaction somewhat ironic is that many critics appear unable to recognize how unusual the current political alignment actually is. The government now includes a prime minister who is broadly positioned in the centre-right of the political spectrum, alongside MPs originating from three different parties, operating within what is effectively an almost-majority governing bloc. Individuals are aligning around governance priorities rather than strict party identity. If anything, the ability of Mark Carney to attract support across traditional party lines suggests a leadership approach focused on coalition-building and institutional stability. But I’m sure the tinfoil hat crowd has some other explanation that doesn’t involve Canada uniting under strong leadership, or anything positive.

Today Conservatives introduced Bill C-270, the Stand on Guard Act, to protect Canadians who defend their homes and families. Since 2015, violent crime is up 55%, gun crime is up 130%, and extortion is up 330% across Canada. Our legislation will clarify the law so victims who defend themselves against intruders are not treated like criminals. Canadians deserve to feel safe in their own homes. We are calling on all parties to support Bill C-270 to ensure the law stands with victims, not criminals.

Get ready for the following if Carney gets a majority: - stacked senate - controlled committees - media censorship - anti-government censorship - GST increase to 7% - Carbon Tax increase - fuel excise tax increase - energy use tax - capital gains taxes increase - inheritance taxation - lottery wins taxation - gun confiscation - movement control - Brookfield assets increase - palm greasing (Idlout style) So, get ready. Carney craves money and power and when it comes to Canada: who cares?

🚨BREAKING NOT ONLY DO THE LIBERALS WANT TO KICK YOU OFF THE INTERNET, BILL C9, BUT THEY WANT TO FIND OUT WHO ANONYMOUS ACCOUNTS ARE. “The type of information law enforcement would be looking for from these companies include IP addresses of suspects who are using false identities on social media to commit crimes,” the officials said. @JasminLaine_ Under Canada’s parliamentary system, MPs are elected as individuals, not as legally bound representatives of a party. The seat belongs to the MP, not the party. So when someone elected to the House of Commons of Canada changes parties, they are allowed to keep their seat. FFS

The new Liberal talking point that Canadians “vote for the person, not the party” might be one of the worst pieces of political advice Mark Carney has received yet. Yes, we elect a candidate. But that candidate represents a party, policies, and values voters are choosing between. If we truly voted only for individuals, Liberals would regularly elect Conservatives and vice versa. They know that isn’t how it works. They know taxpayers know that too… which is why this latest attempt to gaslight and insult the intelligence of Canadian citizens might make for an interesting turn of events—one where we could very well see Mark Carney to be more disliked than Justin Trudeau towards the end of his tenure.

False: The Liberals currently hold 170 seats. They reach a majority at 172 seats. This outcome depends on the three by elections taking place on April 13. Winning those seats means the majority comes directly from the voters. Trump part: The U.S. and Canadian political systems follow different rules. A President is elected independently from the legislature. A Prime Minister serves based on support from the House of Commons. Btw, Costco has a promotion on Kleenex right now ($3 off until March 22) if you need some for the results.

Carney will be the first Prime Minister, IN HISTORY, To achieve a Majority government through floor crossings. The most disrespectful thing that can be done to Canadian voters, effectively invalidating their votes and wishes. Now, imagine Trump did the same. Canadians would lose their mind. That’s why our country is lost. We care more about US politics than our own country.
