No matter what you are trying to do in Canada, you are not allowed. In fact, you are not even allowed to have a vote. Scratch that, you are not allowed to even sign a petition saying you want to have a vote. That is what Canada has become and why it needs to end. Alberta needs to leave and the rest of Canada can wallow in its stagnation.

I do not begrudge Quebec separatists for wanting their own country. They have a unique culture and language that makes their case plausible and understandable. Alberta separatists are just greedy idiots without two brain cells to rub together who hate Canada. Very different.

Albertans!!! We followed every BS rule the provincial system laid out… and still got completely screwed. Elections Alberta approved the independence petition on January 2, 2026. Thousands of brave Alberta volunteers, organized, badged and following strict rules were forced to start collecting signatures in the middle of the cold Alberta winter. They did it! For 4 straight months these dedicated Albertans stood outside in freezing conditions on the side of highways, in parking lots, and at store entrances because that’s what the process demanded. No online clicks. Physical signatures only, from real eligible voters. They smashed the requirement and delivered hundreds of thousands of signatures!!! Now the courts (with federal influence and treaty claims) are trying to kneecap the entire thing. This is what “CANADIAN DEMOCRACY” looks like!!! Make Albertans go through the process to have their voices heard… then move the goalposts when they actually succeed. Absolute bullshit. Alberta deserves way better than this!!! Just personal experience. Was using similar quantities. Had had 3 children already, no problem. Multi-factorial. They resent it because they cant speak it, like shaun here. They resent it because they seem to think they have some ties to Wolfe. Recently, with immigration issues, they now resent it because it is a barrier that works. We dont have the same problems (outside of Montreal) that other cities in Canada have with being over burdened by immis, particularly the Indian variety. As an Anglo from a different province, while I do at times find it annoying and fragile, it has it's merits. I hope it gets harder. That said, Id like to see them more supportive with language courses for other Canucks that want to move here. One of the last vestiges of Canadiana pre2000s.

BREAKING - I just received a call from a Stelco employee in Hamilton, Ontario. That person advised me that he was present when Mark Carney visited the Stelco Steel Plant in Hamilton, Ontario on March 29th, 2026. They advised that when Mark Carney was asked what he would do in the face of an Alberta Independence vote Mark Carney replied that: “There will be no Alberta Independence because I’ll invoke the Emergencies Act.” This was not reported by any mainstream media outlet who were present. It demonstrates that Mark Carney has zero respect for the rule of law, the Constitution of Canada, The Supreme Court of Canada or the Parliament of Canada.
