The people who are complaining about AI use in programming have never had to deal with the mental strain of needing to deep dive to solve problems that are hyper specific and niche, using systems that aren’t well documented (or behind a bunch of gatekept white papers/academics)

Ive aaid this before and ill say it again The only problem with Ai is when u use it for anything visual related as it searches and steals pieces of visuals from other people. Using it for code is always what it was made for, and is better at, as it doesn’t steal.

And before AI code there was Stack overflow

@digitalivi People who don't know how to code love AI because it makes them feel like they do (even though their output is garbage).
People who know how to code hate it. Having to review garbage your colleagues generated is incredibly frustrating. AI is the 911 of programing.

recomp is like the BEST use case for AI because it is repetitive and can be automated. the AI doomers are trying to cancel this person while not knowing what they're talking about - not all AI is bad, not all AI is generative, and not all AI is trained the same way.
also this game is 18 years old. who cares. as long as it works identically to the source and isn't total spaghetti code I'd say that's a good thing

Ubisoft is facing backlash after a Ubisoft Connect outage prevented some PC players from launching Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, even though the game is supposed to have an offline mode.
The outage lasted around an hour, but many players still couldn’t launch the game because Ubisoft Connect needed to verify ownership.
The funniest thing is that pirated copies worked.

meistens ist es dann doch einfach bequemlichkeit und kurzsichtiges handeln. Ich versichere dir - JEDE person die PV in den letzten 10 Jahren installiert hat, kommt heute bei allem günstiger weg und ist zufrieden.
