Spun up VirtualBox and tried installing CachyOS just because I was curious. I run Nobara on my big Desktop for Linux Gaming next to Windows (I unfortunately still need it...). I have to say: very nmice distro as well, lot's of otherwise tedious tweaks and good Kernels already included. The only thing I am coming back to with Arch based systems: Who came up with the pacman options? Why is -S installing a package. Why is there not only -y but also -yy. And -Y. And don't forget -u or things might go sideways. Like...I'm a Linux user for many years now and extensive administrative experience as well across many distros. I have absolutely nothing against Arch. Great system overall. But the pacman command line switches are really either delusional or unneeded gatekeeping. Really annoying tbh. Whats wrong with install/remove/update?
