2025...what a year. This is the first year in a VERY long time that I can truly say I had a good year.
I had probably the worst year of my life last year. I graduated high school 4 months early, moved out before anyone else graduated, and tried adulting out for a change and oh boy did life hit me right in the face extremely hard. I ended up really not ok mentally and was debating whether or not life was worth it anymore. and then .@HavocTwoOne gave me a reason. USPSA. he posted a match and some dryfire and it looked so extremely fun I just HAD to try it out. one thing led to another and I was connected with .@KingWash1789 who quickly became a coach to me in almost all aspects of my life. I made the decision to chase after a newfound dream to become the greatest competitive shooter to ever compete. Shortly after a group formed of some of the greatest people on this planet who I am HONORED to call my friends and family .@ParkerGeurin .@VLanningham03 .@OGPancake07 .@gctactical .@ak_m_training .@Nox1040533 .@JoshShoots .@maxwellraybaker .@srsattern
These people helped me and motivated me throughout my year to chase my goals. I finally stopped feeding myself lies about my health and lost over 100lbs in 7 months. I very quickly made GM in Carry Optics in an extremely fast time from my very first match. I went to multiple major matches and met some AMAZING people who helped continue to build me up instead of tearing me down. I traveled to meet my new friends in person and made some of the best memories of my life on that trip and I am anxious to hang out with them again.
This is only a short write up compared to what I could all type out but I wont take anymore of your time. Thank you to all who made this year an amazing year for me and I am extremely excited to see what 2026 has in store for us!

@Infringer13 I only shoot outdoors and my rifle shooting is less than 2k rds a year, the bulk is pistol rounds with that being 26k-50k rds a year

You are a GM so probably a high burn shooter. Go get your lead tested, as a Lefty I won’t use anything that puts more gas back in my face so LBP is my first criteria then sound and flash. Minimize your exposure if you can. I shoot roughly 15K a year. My lead is down to 3.7 after changing how I process brass. I think Ben Stoger said his was in the 8 or 9 range in a video, and I have heard of other competitors in the high teens. Protect your health the best you can. Keep the gasses out of your face if you can.

OK! CALLING ALL Suppressor nerds I am turning 21 soon, and I am going to buy one or two suppressors and need a premium adult to tell me what’s best.
First is a 5.56 suppressor for an 11.5/16in rifles. My main concerns are sound suppression and flash reduction. I don’t shoot enough to worry about flow through atm so I’m not too concerned
Second is a .308 sized can that can be used for a .308 bolt gun / semi auto 5.56 gun, same thing with this can, I’m looking for sound suppression and flash reduction.
The .308 can is more likely what I buy off the rip so I can use it on both gun. Not too worried about the can length but I’m not looking to buy a 8-14in can

@MandoWisco I was going to buy an Omega 300 from @OGPancake07 but his state laws are big gey

Reading your post again ...
I'll never step back from my Surefire RC3. But the price tag is the problem.
The thing about the surefire adapters is they make them that work in many of what now is the 'standard' internal thread specs. I have adapters that go from the surefire brakes to my Silencerco for example.
I know comp guys that love their Velos 762 and it's a flow also. SC has awesome warranty as I said.
I think where I sit with ... A bunch of cans I would look at that one or the Hux to get started.
Still love my Omega 300, the OG for me
English

@nuttymaxwell Two questions:
Budget?
Weight requirement?
Does it need to be light or does it matter?
Warranty is a consideration.
A 308 can to start is what I did about 12 years ago. Works on everything.
DM me and we can chat in a professional capacity.

@Master2udarnit No point in poisoning myself for no reason other than to “feel good” imo
English

@Master2udarnit Eh, turning 21 ain’t about the alcohol. I could care about drinking. Don’t see a point in it. Suppressors and pistols is where it’s at
English

@nuttymaxwell Make your first shot tequila with an IPA chaser. That will start things off right
English

@jerrycurld @n7nar0sis @HavocTwoOne Oh sweet, perfect combo for .308 and my 11.5 5.56. I’ll pick it up when I turn 21
English

@nuttymaxwell @n7nar0sis @HavocTwoOne Better than Ti and Inconel, performs much better longer at very high temps, much better suited for short barrels and bigger cals
English

@n7nar0sis @nuttymaxwell @HavocTwoOne 762 wait for Black Birds 762 can about to drop, Tisha, Rhodie 6, Fireteam 6, are all out and are elite rn on short 556
English

@CharlieCoks I haven’t heard much about it. I’ve only seen a couple people using them
English

@atAlyssabeth GL and don’t forget that even though you will want to quit 100 times during it, it will get better sort of
English

@ZachARiah1028 @thecavedaddy @jerrycurld I love playing this game.
Let’s see this shitbox you own that has more rounds through it than my PSA
English

@Snakeeater36 @jerrycurld It does man. Open guns are addicting to shoot. Especially when I make 9mm go 1400fps out of it ☺️
English

@jerrycurld That thing looks like it runs smooth as butter too
English

@ops_shade by slowly increasing speed. ramping it up too quickly will only cause you to over or under transition more
English

@nuttymaxwell How do you train transition speed without building tension?
I’m having trouble on these heavy ass 3lb guns to transition them.

ALL GLORY TO GOD!!
Just over a year ago last March I shot my first ever uspsa match. I quickly fell in love and addicted to this sport. Just over a year later I have won my first HIGH OVERALL AT A MAJOR MATCH!!!
I WON THE MISSISSIPPI CLASSIC WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I am so beyond thrilled right now, and even more excited for the future. All the hard work I have put into this, all the hours dryfiring, all the work thousands of rounds shot, are so worth it to feel this level of joy. I hope you all get to experience this happiness in your lifetimes. Thank you to all the amazing friends I have made along the way, and thank you to the ones who will come.
I did vlog this trip and have an amazing vlog coming y’all’s way 🫡

English

@nuttymaxwell I've followed you for a minute now, and I'm glad to hear this dude. Congratulations!
