Companies are cutting costs by laying off people, but the work doesn’t vanish, it just shifts to the ones who stay. No new hiring, no hike, same pay, extra load. So basically doing 1.5-1.7 person's work for 1 person's salary. And still, deadlines don’t wait. What we should do🥲

@nv_legion02 Thinking about a similar situation today. The overworked employees may need to learn to draw the line. The lazy ones could use the opportunity for self improvement. Managers may need to prioritize work more carefully.
