Somebody handed me a sample of a urine strip at CES to monitor my pee like I test the chemicals in my Jacuzzi. I am not sure I am ready to be my own doctor. #ces

I have been at conferences with Sebastian and I'd be scared to see him at a speed dating event. #rhobh

One of the most surprising travel trends we’re seeing at @Visa right now is the rise in solo travel — like sailing around the world with your cat.
If you haven’t heard about him by now, a young man recently went viral for quitting his job, cashing out his 401K, buying a sailboat, and sailing around the world with his cat Phoenix. He shipped off from Oregon and landed in Hawaii while documenting his journey with daily updates, and he went viral in the process.
I feel like his rise to global notoriety speaks to a long-term trend that has culminated in the “save and splurge” spirit of younger millennials and gen Zers. People are willing to save their money for months on end to then go and spend it all on experiences and things that nourish their souls, like festivals or travel. And I believe the success of buy now, pay later is a version of that as well.
But I don’t think this has anything to do with a looming recession or good economic times — I think it has everything to do with this notion that there are certain things that give you joy in life.
Why would anybody want to miss out on that? Every generation comes to this reckoning.
People want to figure out how to capture those moments of joy, even if that means saving up only to wipe out all their savings. Those moments are worth more than a steady state of grinding through it.
And when it comes to the rise of solo travel, it makes total sense. It may seem counter intuitive, but there are a lot of studies exploring our current epidemic of loneliness. Yet the thing I started to realize as I continued to dig deeper into it is that people who solo travel are not lonely at all. They’re exploring ways that help them not only experience joy but make new connections and grow.
I think this phenomenon will continue, and I think it comes down to younger generations really getting the joke…
What is this all about at the end of the day?
It’s about allowing yourself to continue to grow and develop into the person you want to become.
Have you ever gone on a solo trip? Where did you go? What was your experience like? What tip do you have for someone who wants to see the world?

I actually had a fight with ChatGPT last night. I told them that if they didn't get their shit together, I was going to call Sam Altman. ChatGPT got kind of defensive when I made this threat. The crazy thing is I was as upset as if I was arguing with someone else who just couldn't take instructions or deliver what I wanted after telling them what I wanted at least 20 times. I'm not sure how I feel about all this.

Obama just said what everyone’s thinking but too many are afraid to admit: If he had done even a fraction of what Trump’s doing—blacklisting press, punishing dissent, targeting student protestors—the outrage would’ve been deafening.
But now? Silence. Because when the Constitution gets torched by someone in your tribe, suddenly principles are optional.
This isn’t about policy anymore—it’s about power unchecked and hypocrisy on full display.
