In the meantime, this ‘tactic’ (if indeed valid) is discouraging Republican voters, which affects primaries, special elections, and political donations.
Use the State of Virginia as an example. Pissed off Republican voters are possibly so discouraged that they refuse to vote in the unconstitutional redistricting issue.
If this is the game Trump’s playing, shame on him.

Has nobody considered the possibility that this is how Trump wants it to go? Take a look at his record — Trump does not lose. And his strategy always involves misdirection and some appearance that the other side has an upper hand, right before the big twist. Maybe this entire Thune situation is doing exactly what Trump wants it to do.

It appears that we’re not willing to do the hard work of using the filibuster properly—by making filibustering senators speak. That being the case, we should nuke the filibuster. Unless we change course, Senate Republicans will continue to be beholden to the whims of Democrats.

It’s simple. STOP letting your team hijack another creator’s content to monetize it on your behalf @bennyjohnson with no credit. A lot of hard work and $$$ goes into producing our investigations and reports. Two hours after your post and being called out, your team replies “great interview,” but we all know the damage is done. I don’t usually speak out so publicly, but I can’t stand by while independent journalists and creators, like my team, suffer because some accounts wont show common courtesy and respect. BTW A quote tweet is less work. Creators should support each other. Cc: @nikitabier

There’s a lot of speculation on X about the California governor’s race. As I said yesterday, I was initially intending to wait and see how both Bianco and Hilton campaigned before I made a decision. I was leaning Bianco.
As I said yesterday, when I became aware of Bianco’s public kneeling for BLM, I was bothered. But I kept an open mind. And then, I came upon this clip. This was it. Showstopper.
