@FringeGuru I completely understand that reviewers are doing their best to accommodate shows! As I mentioned to @NDSreview more along the lines of how could I have made my PR more appealing - or perhaps just feedback about the time slot or marketing, genuine feedback is appreciated ☺️

@ofdiversion It depends on how you phrase it. If you are looking for genuine feedback which might help you next time, then sure, why not ask? If it's really a disguised complaint, then that's putting a guilt trip on a group of real people who are overworked and, generally, doing their best.

With utmost respect for reviewers, is it bad etiquette to email and ask for feedback as to why we weren’t selected for review during our run? I understand it’s down to each reviewers personal preference but I feel like I sent so many emails and DMs to no avail #EdFringe22

@NDSreview Absolutely, I don’t doubt that this is the case! It’s more by the way of what stands out to reviewers as far as PRs go, so when it does come to choosing between all these many excellent shows you have that little something that reviewers are looking for!

@ofdiversion It can be that they were inundated, we try to say 'we hope to make it', but you literally can't get around to everyone and sometimes it comes down to compromise between team and acts we can actually get to (although we try to go to more unrepresented acts if we can)
