My eldest sister gave birth, and I was told to go help her out as it was her first child. I was there, and I decided to go to the market to get some clothes for myself, I brought the clothes home, and was testing it for my sister to tell me if it's okay or not. I wore the first one, and as I tried on the second one, my sister said ha, don't come and use clothes to snatch my husband, I said sister what did you say? She repeated it again, then I knew it was my time to leave. I stayed for a while and left. Some few years later, I got married and later found out they things wasn't so well with them, she called me and I offered to send some money to her which she agreed. Some minutes later she called me back again and said I'm the one using her glory. The sisterhood bond between us broke that day till today.

If anyone ask me to do production again. I will know the person is after my life. It got to a stage I start to imagine if God is using this idea to punish me. I will go to Idi Oro, Mushin to buy trailer load of plantain. Take it to badore, get women to fry and package. Cutting machine will spoil. We will switch to manual. Oil calculation will go wrong. They will fry and it will not be crunchy. Plantain will be sticking to each other. Light issue will start. Nafdac will say we didn’t add batch number to some products. People will pick product and not pay. We will ship product, buyer will say they haven’t gotten it or not in the size they were expecting. It was a crazy time.

Does anyone have a truly legitimate football reason for why they like Alonso so much? 1) His Leverkusen team's build-up play was much slower than any of Slot's teams have ever been. If you've been complaining about slow possession football, then it's illogical to then beg for a manager whose system is slower and more possession-centric. 2) Do we really want to become a team that uses a back 5? 3) He failed at Madrid. 4) Slot's LFC smacked him 4-0. The biggest reason I can find is "aura" which basically translates to people just fancy him a little?

This man right here is doing way better than The coach all liverpool clueless fans are yelling and yearning for! ✅ He has just recorded 6 consecutive wins. ✅ He has qualified Real Madrid for the Champions League quarter-finals. ✅ He has beaten Guardiola. ✅ He has beaten Mourinho. ✅ He has beaten Simeone. meanwhile , Xabi Alonso cannot beat Arne Nwachukwu Slot. We’re not talking about it enough, but respect to Álvaro Arbeloa for revitalising this Real Madrid team. 🙌🤍

This reminds me of this tweet I made just few weeks ago. Declan Rice is typical premier league midfielder, pace, power and work rate. Low technical level but he can run non stop for 90mins. There was a time in today’s game where Arsenal were on the front foot and it was a counter, Rice just had to release his team mate very easily, and guess what, he played it wide for a Man City goal kick, I don’t know if you guys remember. So many of those chances, Rice won’t wiggle away from two players, if he will beat a player, it’s most likely bulldozing you out of the way. You will rarely see him drop a killer pass that’ll get you off your feet. That’s not him. However, he’ll make up for these things with his physicality and running about.

AKINWANDE@iam_commando

DECLAN RICE: He is not a Regista (controls the tempo from deep) e.g Andre Pirlo and Jorginho. He is not a Deep-lying play maker (start attack from deep) e.g Xabi Alonso and Sergio Busquets. He is not a Box to Box (covers both defensive and attacking areas) e.g Steven Gerrard and Yaya Toure. He is not a Defensive Midfielder (destroyer/Ball winner who protects the defence and break up attacks) e.g Ngolo Kante and Casemiro. He’s not an Advanced play maker (creative midfielder) e.g Bruno Fernandes and Kevin De Bruyne. He’s not a Mezzala (an attacking central midfielder who drifts into half spaces to support attack) e.g Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio. He’s not a Carrilero (a midfielder who covers wide spaces and supports both full backs and midfield) e.g Arturo Vidal. He’s not a Trequartista (Operates between midfield and attack with freedom) e.g Francesco Totti. He runs the whole field busy doing nothing. Just burning calories. Hiding Midfielder.

This quote from Van Dijk is damning. Slot needs to go asap. “I was also surprised when I was on the training pitch yesterday [Friday] and I only saw the amount of players that I saw, but that is the situation.” Is he saying training is optional? AND that players are opting out?

Exclusive 💣 We understand that Liverpool's owners and football operations team will meet on Tuesday to discuss the crisis at the club. Liverpool will ask Xabi Alonso once again whether he is willing to cut short his break from football to manage the club and replace Arne Slot. There are mixed views on bringing Steven Gerrard in as temporary manager until the summer, and it will require convincing certain officials at the club.

Liverpool have a duty to protect the club's interests. A decision needs to be made on Arne Slot's future and Steven Gerrard as temporary manager until the end of the season. The current situation is disgraceful.

Micah Richards, who was sort of an outsider in that England setup being a Man City player at the time, pointed it to a disconnect that came from their club rivalries. It’s why l’ll always say Gareth Southgate is arguably the most important manager England has had. He set a culture of unity and mutual respect. He democratised the Three Lions and obviously, the growth of the Premier League and it meant that more clubs had an input in the national team. It broke the big clubs’ camps where players associated based on the club they represented. See this excerpt from Richard’s’ book; “What made England difficult, then, wasn’t the players as people. It was how divided the squad was by club loyalty. Looking back, the dynamic was absolutely crazy. There was a large group of Manchester United players: Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Owen Hargreaves, Wes Brown. That was one faction, and probably the dominant one. Then there was a little Liverpool clan, built around Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. There was a Chelsea gang – Terry, Lampard, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole – and another one from Arsenal. “That first evening, when everyone started to arrive at the hotel, could be frosty, especially if we all got together after a big game between two of the big clubs. It would be up to one of the neutrals, someone who wasn’t affiliated to any of the major clans, someone like Jermain Defoe, to try to break the ice, to crack a joke about why they all looked so serious, but there was a limit to what any of us could do. I don’t think we were ever really united enough as a national team to say that everyone in the squad was talking to everyone else. There was always some sort of beef. It never quite passed over into becoming something you could joke about. It ran deeper than one set of players being disappointed to have lost, or another gloating that they had won. There was a genuine sense that, deep down, they didn’t like each other. “That divide defined everything on those England get-togethers. On those trips where we didn’t have our own rooms, the Manchester United players would room with each other. Gerrard and Carragher would room together. The Chelsea players would room together, and the Arsenal players. It was the same at mealtimes. There would be a Liverpool table, a United table, a Chelsea table, an Arsenal table, and they were lines that you did not cross. “Glen Johnson, who was then at Liverpool, couldn’t just wander up and plant himself down next to Rio Ferdinand. That would have been a taboo.” Rio Ferdinand rehashed the same opinion in an interview he granted in the past. “It (club rivalry) killed that England team, that generation. "One year we would have been fighting Liverpool to win the league, another year it would be Chelsea. So I was never going to walk into the England dressing room and open up to Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, John Terry or Joe Cole at Chelsea, or Steven Gerrard or Jamie Carragher at Liverpool because of the fear they would take something back to their club and use it against us. "I didn't realise that what I was doing was hurting England at the time. I was so engrossed, so obsessed with winning with Man United -- nothing else mattered.'' They had a squad of insanely talented footballers but never managed to have a team until Southgate.

For 3 years, I have been paying my rent about 7-9 days before the due date. Never ever defaulted. I take care of my landlord properties like they’re mine. I barely call him to fix anything, and when I do, he’s so excited to do it because I can go 6 months without even having a chat with him. When he increased rent after 2.5 years, I negotiated and he agreed with what I told him because he knows I’m a good tenant. He’s been always nice to me and I have reciprocated that by paying my rent on time and taking care of his properties. I hope one day I’ll have my own houses and also have tenants like myself.
