I knew they had an angle for all this publicity they were getting but never in my mind would I have thought it would be a swingers or polyamorous relationship app. They will struggle as this is not an app idea but a secret club idea.

BREAKING: RCMP have officially charged 18-year-old Jimmy Gassner of Lloydminster with second-degree murder in connection with the March 14 shooting on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway.  Gassner was arrested on Saturday in Canoe Lake, Saskatchewan, and is being transported back to Alberta to face court proceedings. The charge follows the death of 22-year-old Birinder Singh, who was killed while driving near Leduc. Investigators confirmed today that while a suspect is in custody, they are still working to determine a motive for the incident.

The last set of people you would want to mess around with are UK financial crime investigators. Nobody in their right mind would do shady business with London as the location to keep the assets that are proceeds of crime. People who carry rumors should realize that a professional accountant who rose to be a GTBANK Executive Director and later CEO and owner of his bank is very different from an anyhow banker or an Agbero politician. Herbert and Aig were shrewd and hard businessmen. They cut us out of a $100m deal we brought to them once and I kept my distance after that but we could not fault them because it was by the book. We couldn’t be part of the deal as we were not a financial institution. People that knew us from home and from wearing pants did not break the law to cut us into a deal we brought to them and someone will think that they would be doing careless shady property deals?? Second base jare.

@asemota @Uchennastephs This is the central point of this discourse, in London, it’s almost impossible to hide the beneficial owner(s) of an asset regardless of which entity is holding it in on paper.

This is why I stopped doing DoorDash, a very crazy experience. So when I left Nigeria and to the US, I got my driver’s license almost immediately… no wasting time. Within a month or two, if I remember well. And one thing about this country is that once you have a driver’s license, half of your problems are solved. You will lose so many opportunities if you don’t have a driver’s license or don’t know how to drive…. and of course, if you don’t have legal documentation to stay in the country. Without legal documentation, there’s no way you can get a driver’s license. So I wanted to start Uber and Lyft. At least to start my life over here. Uber rejected my enrollment because my driver’s license was not up to a year old. But Lyft is not like that, you can start Lyft immediately.

My father’s eldest sister lost her husband weeks ago. I heard today that she has fixed the funeral for June. Lots of months to be sure he is truly dead. I know what happened. She is in deep shock. They met while in university in the US. I lived with them in Lagos for years and none is problematic. Of course, I lived comfortably with them and got everything I wanted. This was even before I went to India at 18 and to university. Not as house boy, but as Landlord. 😂 My room was upstairs and my aunt made my food and called me to the dining room to eat. “Onyeka (in that posh accent), your food is ready.” She is very educated by the way. Highly educated. The perfect couple. She always called him Daddy. He called her Mummy. Devout Christians of Foursquare Gospel Church. This is the beauty of it: he is Yoruba and she is Igbo. I know what is happening: I think she is in shock and she doesn’t believe he is dead. If you let her, she may never bury him.

When I first moved to the UK, I was squatting with my mom’s younger brother, who by the way is freaking rich!!!! He’s lived here for most of his life and would visit Nigeria only during Christmas. Married a white woman and has kids. I looked up to him, admired him and he was one of my favorite uncles. We had a good relationship for the longest of time before I left Nigeria. However, after moving into his house I realized he is deputy Satan. He treated me like shit. Talked down on me like I was beneath him. Would mock my “Nigerian accent”. One day he saw me using the microwave and asked if I have ever used one in my life or if we had one in Nigeria. Asked if I knew what a washing machine is. Me? First class graduate from FUTO with my IELTS band 8.0. Many things I can’t remember now but one thing I can’t forget was one time his wife and son travelled in the summer. It was on a Sunday and we’d just got back from church. I decided to make us lunch and so with my money I got stuffs from the shops. I made him barbecue fish with plantain. Specially. I was happy doing something nice for this man. He accepted it after I served, or so I thought. I went into my room until the next day when I was leaving early for work. Just as I was about leaving the door, he called me back in. Asked why I decided to make him food yesterday. I responded that I just wanted to do something nice for him and since his wife wasn’t at home to cook for him, I decided to. He looked me dead in the eye, said I should never offer anything again to him, told me he left “my fish” in the kitchen and I should take it back. lol I grew up in so much comfort that I’d never experienced “maltreatment” and anyone being condescending to me until my adult life. Till today, I still ask God to help me forgive him because I’ve never hated someone in my entire life this much. It was so bad that at a point I also resented my mom for being his sister. I resented their entire family. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
