Though, Pratt has really been staying at the Hotel Bel-Air for more than a month. Mind you, you can't get a room for less than $1,500 a night.

I was at the meeting to hear him speak to Angelenos. Here’s what he told us:
“Look, I didn’t even want to run… but since my house burned down because of Mayor Bass and her policy failures, I have to run for my kids, for my family, for everyone who lost their homes, and for all of Los Angeles. We’re fed up with this.”
He speaks like a resident, not a politician. His message is reasonable.
