Kidnappers hijacked a Lagos-Abuja bus full of passengers in Kogi, and the police were informed. After about two weeks of negotiating with families, a release date was set. One condition was that the tortured hostages would be released together, so all relatives collecting their loved ones had to come as a group. They had to stop at “Mr Bigg’s Lokoja”, buy 10 packs of chicken and rice and two big power banks, hire a Sienna with a familiar driver, and follow the directions.
Despite this, no arrests were made. The kidnappers made about N10m from each hostage.

The FBI and our great partners have arrested Xu Zewei - a PRC national and state-sponsored hacker - allegedly responsible for a massive cyber intrusion campaign in 2020 and 2021 stealing COVID-19 research from American institutions.
Xu has been extradited to the U.S. out of Italy as of this weekend, and he will now face federal charges.
During 2020 and 2021, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Xu and his co-conspirators allegedly targeted and hacked U.S. based universities, immunologists, and virologists conducting COVID-19 research - including key treatment and vaccines - accessing email accounts and more.
Xu was also allegedly a key contractor part of what’s known as HAFNIUM, a group responsible for a massive cyber intrusion campaign (directed by PRC officials) that compromised nearly 13,000 U.S. organizations.
This case is a historic win for our cybersecurity efforts under President Trump, bringing bad actors who target American infrastructure to justice no matter where they try to hide.
A huge thank you to our partners in Italy, including Prefect Vittorio Pisani of the Italian National Police, who worked with us nonstop in this investigation - getting Xu in custody, extraditing him, and conducting an FTOC with FBI personnel.

According to his plea agreement, Patrick Nwaokwu conspired with others to sell fraudulent nursing diplomas and educational transcripts to individuals. He also assisted the purchasers with fraudulently obtaining nursing licensures they needed to attain employment in the health care field.

Good morning X people. You remember this? He went in for the surgery yesterday. The surgery was successful 💃💃. I’m so happy. We got 251,200 from Twitter, I rounded it up and sent the money to him plus charges yesterday morning cos they needed to buy materials for the surgery. I want to appreciate everyone that retweeted and contributed. God bless you all. However it was because he had half of the money in total that’s why that performed the surgery.
