After overtaxing you, drowning you in debt and cooking the shadiest fuel deals in our history, this govt now wants applause for ‘negotiating’ a crisis it created. They hike prices, blame a ‘global crisis’, then compromise a few loud voices into silence and call it leadership. Kenya doesn’t need photo‑ops and KSh10 gimmicks on diesel. We need the extractive cartel state dismantled. We must Reset, Restore & Rebuild Kenya #Ukombozi @UGMParty @Maraga27 @ntvkenya @citizentvkenya @tv47digital @StandardKenya @TheStarKenya @NationAfrica
William Samoei Ruto, PhD@WilliamsRuto

We are fully aware of the frustration, pain and burden that families, businesses, farmers and transporters have endured due to rising fuel prices over the past few weeks. The truth is this: Kenya is facing the effects of a global fuel crisis caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This challenge is not unique to Kenya. Across the world, countries are grappling with rising fuel prices, supply shortages and disruptions in the global supply chain. Since the beginning of this crisis, we have responded decisively to cushion Kenyans from high fuel prices and to ensure the country continues to enjoy a stable and uninterrupted fuel supply under the Government-to-Government framework. In the April-May and May-June pricing cycles, the Government has spent KSh28.19 billion on fuel price support through direct stabilisation measures and Value Added Tax (VAT) relief of 8 per cent, protecting millions of Kenyans from even greater hardship. Without Government intervention during this period, Super Petrol would retail at KSh230 a litre instead of the current KSh214. Diesel would retail at KSh277 instead of KSh232, while kerosene would retail at KSh270 instead of KSh191. To further cushion Kenyans, I have directed a KSh10 reduction for diesel in the June-July pricing cycle. We call on Kenyans to remain patient as we navigate this crisis. Let us not allow irresponsible political opportunists to politicise a crisis that is global in nature. Together, we shall overcome these challenges. Held talks with transport stakeholders at State House Mombasa and agreed on a series of reforms to address concerns in the transport sector, including the possibility of a temporary relief on lending terms for the transport sector, insurance claims and regulations on minimum fares for digital taxis, as well as allowing the continued use of artwork and graffiti on matatus.

Another Death Inside A Police Station! 24 years old Brian Njung’e, a student at Kiambu National Polytechnic, was arrested yesterday Thursday 21st May morning in Kirigiti area of Kiambu town and booked at Kiambu Police Station. Brian called his mother from the police station around 9am and they spoke, where Brian informed the mother of his arrest. The family, including the mother, rushed to the police station to follow up. They got there just before noon and requested to see Brian but were asked to wait. They were kept waiting until around 2pm when they were called in and informed that Brian had allegedly committed suicide in the cells. Police claim Brian was alone in the cells as other cellmates had been taken to court. The family is crying foul and wants justice arguing that the police story doesn’t add up.

Back in 2013, during his first year in office, Uhuru Kenyatta issued 60,000 title deeds at the Coast in one go. Leaders present included Ruto, Mvurya, Joho, and Kingi. Yesterday, Ruto issued only 30,000 title deeds. But somehow, Mama Fatuma wants to convince us that Uhuru never cared to issue title deeds to the people of the Coast. He is the same guy alleged to have orchestrated the killing and disappearance of ICC witnesses who were supposed to testify against Ruto. Given power, this fat toad is more dangerous than Nicholas Biwott, Matakwei, Ruto, and Museveni combined. They can continue with their tribal rhetoric but come 2027, kama Kuna watu watachomwa ni Wanasiasa. We ain't going to kill one another because of stupid politicians. They should stay guided!!

President Ruto: If we stop collecting these revenues entirely, then what public services shall we stop funding? Do we go back to stalled road projects, stop fertilizer subsidy or cut the security budget? Leadership requires us to make responsible decisions not only for today but for the long-term stability of our economy

Breaking: Today, as I promised, I reveal what could be one of the biggest fraud scandals inside the State Department for Agriculture. Ksh 275 MILLION withdrawn in 8 days. No supporting documents. And nobody has been arrested. It begins here. The State Department had an account in a famous commercial bank. They had been using it for a long but for some reason stopped using it in 2024. The account holding over Ksh 300M was then declared DORMANT on 26 Dec 2024. But just days later, something disturbing happened: - Ksh 92.5M withdrawn on Jan 2 - Ksh 92.5M withdrawn on Jan 7 - Ksh 90M withdrawn on Jan 10 Total: Ksh 275 MILLION gone in only 8 days. From a dormant account. Read that again. My sources say the money was allegedly moved into private accounts. They sent me more documents, but this got bad fast. I checked the Auditor General’s findings. The figures reportedly match. Even worse? When auditors demanded documents supporting the withdrawals, they were not provided. The Auditor General even flagged it as possible fraud. This is the same script, similar to what I noticed in NHIF that we are following now. This is why some of us are angry. Farmers are struggling. Food prices are rising. Taxes keep increasing. Yet somewhere inside government, hundreds of millions allegedly disappear in silence. You delay a loan repayment by one day, and the bank reacts immediately. But Ksh 275 million can allegedly move from a dormant account, and nobody is arrested. How? The CS for Agriculture is Mutahi Kagwe. EACC knows. DCI knows. People inside the government know. But everyone is silent. And from what I’m hearing, this may only be the tip of the iceberg. More revelations soon. More, even bigger. I will share more documents later today. follow - sholla ard

Dear Hon @KuriaKimaniMP: COFEK was duly scheduled to appear in the National Assembly’s public participation exercise on the Finance Bill 2026. We have since learnt that the proceedings have been relocated from Parliament Buildings to Glee Hotel [[owned by one Ms Mary Wambui Mungai who is public domain that she doesn’t pay her taxes] along the Northern Bypass, a privately-owned commercial establishment. We formally decline to appear at any venue outside Parliament or its designated public facilities, and state our legal grounds as follows: 1.Constitutional Breach — Article 118 of the Constitution obligates Parliament to facilitate public participation in an open and accessible manner. Relocating proceedings to a private hotel, without public notice explaining the circumstances, fatally undermines this constitutional mandate and creates conditions that are neither neutral nor accessible to all stakeholders. 2.Conflict of Interest — Directing public funds to a private hospitality venue raises immediate questions of procurement propriety under the Public Finance Management Act and the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act. Where the proprietor of that establishment faces unresolved tax compliance questions, the conflict is compounded. 3.Wasteful Expenditure — Parliament has at its disposal Bunge Towers, procured at public expense for precisely such legislative business. Bypassing this public infrastructure to pay commercial rates at a private hotel constitutes wasteful and irregular expenditure contrary to Article 201(d) of the Constitution. 4.Interference with Public Participation — The last-minute venue change, without adequate notice to all registered participants, effectively disenfranchises stakeholders and taints the integrity of the Finance Bill 2026 public participation process. Any legislative outcome premised on a flawed process is legally vulnerable to constitutional challenge. TAKE NOTICE that COFEK reserves its right to petition the High Court to nullify any proceedings conducted under these irregular circumstances, and to seek orders compelling Parliament to conduct genuine, Constitution-compliant public participation. Be accordingly and severally informed @HonWetangula @NAssemblyKE @NACommitteeKE @Senate_KE @HonAmasonKingi @KIMANIICHUNGWAH @Aaroncheruiyot @EACCKenya @katibainstitute @OkiyaOmtatah @ckanjama @lawsocietykenya @PPRAKenya
