Chuck Schumer says the SAVE Act allows ICE to remove “tens of billions of people” from voter rolls without warning them until Election Day. “It allows ICE to kick tens of billions of people off the rolls and not tell them until Election Day… You show up and they say, ‘You’re not registered anymore.’” Schumer made the comment while discussing voter registration and immigration enforcement policies in the United States. His claim quickly drew attention because the entire U.S. population is roughly 330 million—far below the “tens of billions” figure he mentioned.

MEET ASHIK SIDDIQUE. He is the national co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, and he wants to abolish the United States Senate. Siddique has never accomplished anything that would justify placing him above the constitutional system he wants to dismantle. Yet socialism has given him the confidence to believe the problem is not his lack of experience. The problem is the structure of the country itself. Abolishing the Senate would erase equal representation for every state. California could dominate Wyoming. New York could overpower Nebraska. Political control would shift toward a handful of densely populated metropolitan areas, while smaller and rural states would lose one of their principal protections in the federal government. It would also eliminate the chamber responsible for confirming federal judges and Cabinet officials, approving treaties, conducting impeachment trials, and slowing legislation before temporary political majorities can force it through. And that is the real objective. The Senate frustrates radical movements because it prevents a narrow ideological majority concentrated in major cities from immediately transforming the entire country. Socialists call that undemocratic because they do not merely want representation. They want fewer obstacles between themselves and power. Siddique says the Senate was built for wealthy landowners. His solution is to destroy one of the central checks in the Constitution and dramatically expand the House instead. DSA has repeatedly promoted abolishing or weakening institutions that restrain raw majority power, including the Senate, Electoral College, and Supreme Court. This is why socialism should never be treated as a harmless demand for cheaper healthcare or higher wages. Its leaders are openly telling you they want to redesign the government, remove constitutional guardrails, and concentrate power where their movement believes it can win. Like many of the leader in the @DemSocialists, Ashik Siddique has built remarkably little. But he is ready to demolish quite a lot.

New research claims human emissions are not driving atmospheric CO2. A paper by Dai Ato ran multiple linear regressions for 1959 to 2022, testing two predictors of the annual CO2 increase: sea surface temperature and human emissions. The result was clear: when the oceans warmed, CO2 levels rose almost exactly in step - about two to three parts per million for every one degree Celsius of warming. Adding human emissions to the model didn't change the outcome. Using only ocean temperature, the model reproduced global CO2 levels with near-perfect accuracy - a correlation of 0.995 and an error of just one to two ppm by 2022. The main factor governing the annual increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration is sea surface temperature rather than human emissions. Earlier studies have shown the same pattern. Temperature changes first, CO2 follows. If Ato is correct, cutting human emissions won't lower atmospheric CO2 because it's the oceans that set the pace.

Plotting the overthrow of the country isn't constitutionally protected activity. Speaking academically about how the country could be taken down is protected, but that's not what the DSA is doing. These aren't academic theories being debated in a classroom. This is a heavily funded and highly active political party actively strategizing about how to execute plans to take the country down, while electing members to office and infiltrating American institutions. None of this is protected by the constitution, and we have every right to dissolve the DSA and throw these people into prison for sedition. These people aren't kidding around here. And we need to get a LOT more ruthless with them.

For the past year, MAGA has been screaming “Europoor” like a cheap car alarm going off at three in the morning. Nobody asked for it, nobody knows how to turn it off. But then along comes this chart. America sits at number four in average wealth. Except “average” is the statistic billionaires hide behind. Put Elon Musk in a room with 500 broke MAGA guys, and on average, everyone in that room is a multibillionaire. That’s the trick! Now look at the median. The actual middle American, the real one with the pickup truck, the missing teeth and the medical debt. Fourteenth place. Behind Belgium. Behind Italy. Behind Spain. And the ordinary European? The man MAGA calls a Europoor pays $9 for his insulin, glances over at the American paying $900 for the exact same vial, shrugs, and goes back to being more than twice as wealthy. He’d feel sorry for you, but honestly, he’s too busy being on vacation. And that gap between fourth and fourteenth? That’s not a statistical quirk. That’s the entire scam laid bare. America’s wealth exists. It’s just not yours. It belongs to about eleven people in Palo Alto, and you’ve been guarding it for them for free, like an unpaid nightclub bouncer, shouting at Europeans on the internet while the owners drink champagne inside. American exceptionalism. No other nation on Earth has ever been this successfully convinced to cheer for its own fleecing. So by all means, keep shouting Europoor. We’ll be over here with our healthcare, our six weeks of vacation, and our double-your-median wealth, trying very hard to hear you over the sound of how sorry we feel.

.@NYCMayor Mamdani’s appointed advisory commission is recommending an 18.2% raise for himself and other elected officials purportedly because of inflation, yet his self-appointed Rent Guidelines Board — which is supposed to consider inflation in setting rents— froze rents for two years.
