Today, I can announce my new position at PlayStation as the Manager of Global Programs for Competitive Gaming and Esports. I'll collaborate closely with our talented PlayStation Esports team to develop strategies and manage our competitive gaming portfolios, including PS Tournaments, Repeat, EVO, and our proprietary IP tentpole programs. It is still surreal to continue working in gaming and esports as a career; I am excited to continue learning and growing with the fantastic team I work with daily.

Heroic has been my home for the last 4 years. Those 4 years have not just been career defining, but life changing for me. Big trophies, multiple stints as world number 1, a few clutches here and there, plus many great friendships. Looking back I feel gratitude, pride and I’m leaving with a smile on my face. I want to thank the organization for putting their trust in me throughout my time here. Looking ahead, my time has come for new adventures, and I am feeling very confident about my future.

Thank you, @caspercadiaN ❤️‍🔥

Andrew, big fan from Sweden. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we do not do lingonberries with pasta and meatballs. It is supposed to be potatoes, mashed are totally ok. Pasta we do not do with lingonberries even if meatballs are great with it. Otherwise you did good! Add some pickled cucumber and you are even closer. Check this out. koket.se/kottbullar-med… Insanely good and one of the best chefs in Sweden.

Let's dive in!

Yea me and my dad had crazy competitive racing on it. He sat up late at night beating my records so I could try to beat him later, played it a lot. Same with one of the snowboarding games that I dont remember the name of. He got mad at me when I figured out how to modify the high score in a file on the file system and cheat. Still complains about that today 😂

Which games were you playing when you started? For me, it started with Age of Empires and Rise of Rome. This was so long ago. Eventually, we started playing FPS-games at school, which is kinda weird. We managed to install games on the schools computers with floppys. Oh my god. Do you remember? Floppys are probably the kind of thing, that if you showed one to todays gamers, they would think you are from the stone-age. At school I played my first FPS-games, Doom and Duke Nukem. Personally, I loved Duke Nukem. We just played the same level over and over again. The one with the cinema. This eventually led to playing single-player Half-Life and Counter-Strike. Which games got you started?

This morning I started listening to the audio-book of Emil @Real_HeatoN Christensen. An old friend and team-mate of mine. Old with double meanings. We're pushing 40 both of us. Can't be possible, can it? I'm a few episodes in, and I already get the familiar feeling of Counter-Strike & gaming, in some way, saving him. This is kind of how I feel about it too. Growing up, I didn't really feel at home, or comfortable anywhere to be honest. I was playing sports, doing well in school but I felt like an outsider. I'm not really sure why but the feeling was always there. Finding Counter-Strike and the gaming community appeared as a calling, and somehow became the first place where I felt comfortable, and felt at home - free to be myself. I think gaming has done this for a lot of people. I will get back with another post once I have finished listening to the audio-book. I have been told that I am mentioned in the book by Emil. I'm kind of embarrassed to say I haven't listened to it until now. Better late than never, yeah? Can you relate?
