@FootballEra_ You have stated your claim clearly as Gyokeres. Yes he scores more than Havertz would have but you 100% completely ignoring the huge drop off of goals scored by LW and RW this season, which Havertz would have facilitated.

How you judge Arsenal’s summer signings is based on how well they’ve done the primary job they were brought in for, how well they’ve helped solve the personnel (not tactical) issues the team had last season. Arsenal’s main personnel issues going into this season were: — Lack of a pure ball-striker, goal-scoring striker: Gyokeres — Lack of a progressive passer, and press-resistant 6 following the departures of Partey and Jorginho: Zubimendi — Lack of quality rotation for Saka at RW and lack of elite LW: Madueke — Lack of an x-factor AM capable of grabbing games by the scruff of the neck: Eze — Lack of quality depth in defence: Mosquera, Hincapie All things considered, this is the order of how well they’ve succeeded in their primary roles: 1. Gyokeres — The club’s top scorer and output leader in all competitions, with 21 goals and 24 G/A overall. He has succeeded in his primary job which is to delivered goals, despite how long it took the system to adapt to him. 2. Eze — Has delivered moments of quality and magic in key games. Could be more consistent, but overall has contributed in crucial moments in a suboptimal role. 3. Zubimendi — Ranked third due to his decent start of the season. He was good at his primary job earlier in the season, but regressed massively in the second half, making costly mistakes in big games, struggling to control tempo of games and progress the ball from deep, and has lost his place to 19 years old MLS in the most crucial point of the season. 4. Hincapie — Struggled early due to injury and adaptation but has since found his rhythm. He’s been pushing for a starting spot at left-back now, giving Calafiori real competition. 5. Mosquera — The best value-for-money signing. Did exactly what he was brought in to do, a reliable, quality backup who is always ready when called upon. 6. Madueke — He looked like a decent backup for Saka in his first few matches, allowing him to rest, and has contributed in certain games. However, for the fee he cost, you’d expect someone capable of mounting a serious challenge for a starting spot. Him not being good enough at LW also puts a dent on the signing, his current squad status and importance doesn’t fully justify the price he cost. *Norgaard — I cant give him a specific position due to how underutilized he has been, he could’ve helped in certain moments especially when the club needed to give Rice and Zubimendi some rest.

Question for Arsenal fans. All things being considered over the full course of the season. Who’s been Arsenal’s best, most impactful and relevant summer signing?

@McFlybowy Absolutely, I don't what happens in the final as long as we've won the league before then. Winning it will just be like an icing on a cake.

Losing the UCL Final will not break any Arsenal fan if they win the league, because the Premier League is the real measure of consistency, mentality and dominance over a full season. A Champions League final is one game anything can happen in 90 minutes. But winning the league means you were the best team across 38 games against every type of opponent, pressure and circumstance. Of course it would hurt to lose a European final, especially after coming that far, but if Arsenal end the season as champions of England, most fans will still look back at it as a successful season. The league is what truly proves the project is working. And honestly, for a fanbase that has waited this long for another Premier League title, that trophy would heal almost everything.

“Why do you hate Arsenal?” You people should just shut up about this victim cries all the time. Every fan have one or 2 clubs they hate with passion, we don’t hear this question every time until recently. Liverpool under Klopp had almost everyone hate watching Liverpool, Same as United under Ferguson, Barca under Pep, Chelsea for the last 2 decades etc. You are not special, it’s just a football thing to hate the best performing clubs a certain period. You are not just use to having your team in that position.
DANDIZZY@iDanDizzy

Some of you do not even know why you hate Arsenal, you just follow whatever narrative the media is pushing.

@Dajamal_23 He says "victim cries" With all the clubs you mentioned, which club have experienced the level of hate that Arsenal is subjected to right now. You said it's normal to hate the best performing club, but other clubs are twerking for City that has won the league 5/6 times recently

@Lea_EFC The main issue for me is that VAR has pointed out that there were other incidents alongside the foul on the keeper & Kavanagh completely dismisses them. There's at least 5 fouls in the box at the point & he'd only interested in 1. That's negligence at best!

VAR has officiated that West Ham vs Arsenal incident at the weekend. VAR instructed Chris Kavanagh to look at the monitor, then suggested he looks at both Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard incidents but fails to provide him with conclusive footage of any fouls. Chris Kavanagh was only provided with footage to disallow the goal for a foul by Pablo on Raya. A better, stronger referee would have asked for more footage of the reported Rice and Trossard incidents. VAR has literally officiated that incident and put its own spin on it so Chris Kavanagh had no alternative but to disallow the goal from the inadequate footage provided. Make no mistake, VAR is officiating Premier League games now.

@tobyasky It’s how one idiot shouted Gabriel is better than John Terry cos they’re leading yesterday & the mf was serious. For a team claiming to be so good & cant even rack up to 90pts to win the league. This will be the most poorest league win of the century.

Baba mi, what you actually do is “business” that involves football, and most are centred around Arsenal, it doesn’t mean you really enjoy the game outside Arsenal. Your bias will always lie towards Arsenal. This is the list of live games I’ve seen this season x.com/tobyasky/statu… Today, I watched Celtic, I watched Portobello, I watched Forest, I watched Marseille, I watched Rochdale, I watched Arsenal, I watched Real Madrid, I’m currently watching Neymar and Santos (he just scored btw)…I watch all forms of football, leagues you’ll never think of, lots of podcasts from ex players, club presidents, sporting directors, etc…you cannot have such investment I assure you, so we can’t be at par. I support Barcelona but I criticise my players because I’m firstly a football fan before a club fan, it’s not same with you. I support Arsenal when I feel like and supported Atletico madrid to beat Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey. I’m not being paid, I just genuinely enjoy the game, it’s not the same with you. Rice is suddenly better because you’re about to win the league, that’s not a factual option, it’s a momentary opinion. Caicedo & Rice are not far apart, and that’s a fact if you’re honest. You can have an opinion that one is better, but don’t quote my tweet so your minions can jump on it like it’s some ridiculous take, it’s not, and you honestly know.
Leo Dasilva@SirLeoBDasilva

I don’t know who you are in the football space and I could care less fam. Caicedo is no where near Declan Rice. I am not “just a fan”. I actually have worked for my club. I run the largest football community in this part of the continent. My community has partnerships with Adidas

One thing this game has shown me is that we desperately need a Rice-level dueller or at least high space coverage even more than we need a progressive 6. MLS has actually done a great job being the lone pivot 6. The real fear I had was when Rice moved to RB and West Ham attacked, our middle didn't have the large space coverage to defend. To me, the best OOP midfielder after Rice is Onana. Been a huge fan of him for a while, and he's massively improved his on-ball ability. Anderson is easily the perfect profile but he's too costly. I'd also love Mateus Fernandes (talked about him before, big fan). He doesn't cover as much space as Rice or Onana, but he covers it very well OOP, and he has great anticipation skills to read the game. Tonali covers space well too but is a poorer dueller than M.Fernandes while being much costlier, so no. Camara is too bad aerially for me to consider him next to MLS. I love his engine, though. Chema is another option I really like. Covers space very well, but he's still unpolished. And of course, Bouaddi and Agoumé. Agoumé is in Hell rn at Sevilla, which has stunted his development. Bouaddi is a great option but his passing leaves A LOT to the desired. What do you guys, think? Who'd you want as the Rice rotation option? Remember, their ability to cover large spaces should be taken into account.

@Edwyeen x.com/skysportsnews/… This was a defining moment for Arsenal some years ago, we called for consistency and competence from the referees but we were called cry babies. It has gone my team’s way today and I am happy but we all know the English refs need to do better.

The PGMOL have admitted that it was 'human error' which lead to VAR not fully investigating an offside call for Brentford's equaliser against Arsenal.
