Here is the price they paid to get Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford: Four 1st round picks, two 2nd-round picks, two 3rd-round picks AND Goff (And a ton of salary) (Obviously well worth it) What it cost them to get Simpson: Handing a slip of paper to the commissioner. And maybe, if he doesn't pan out, some regret on losing out on a player that could have helped them. If Simpson works out, that's incredible value. And that doesn't even take into account what they might have to pay to find Stafford's replacement, if they didn't draft Simpson.

So I did some math, thinking about the @Rams decision to use the 13th pick in the draft to select Ty Simpson. First off, whatever you think about him, the Rams' evaluation process - one of the best in the NFL - deemed him a QB they can compete at the highest level with. They never would have selected him at 13 if not.

I had Zuhe Mocked to the Raiders for my last few Mocks. Raiders loved him and had hoped he would fall; they had a high grade on him, but it was clear he wasn't going to last. Superb pick.
