I pay ChatGPT $25/month and it’s doing the work of three consultants, a junior analyst, and my inner monologue. I’d pay much more. Why haven’t they raised prices? Wrong answers only.

@dgt10011 The "young people" voting for Mamdani do not own assets. Of course they will not like bitcoin - they have no wealth to store. The whole point is that they want to take the wealth from the rich. And then, _then_ they will come around to bitcoin.

One worrying trend is that Bitcoin is losing young people. The same young people that are voting for Mamdani. This is the existential risk that people are not connecting, but soon will. Bitcoin must offer hope for the young, not the old.

@fejau_inc @DannyDayan5 @poz718 @qthomp Imo 0% supply growth for btc is just a meme / marketing. Inflation is a relative metric. When fiat is doing 8% annual growth btc doing 1% is fine. It’s just perspective and narrative Gold has growing supply for 5000 years and is fine

@DannyDayan5 @poz718 @qthomp it's probably the #1 existential question for bitcoin. there's some people who believe because of this the 21m hardcap isn't as set in stone as many think. there's discussion on this but no consensus. its a key concern

Why would bitcoin miners keep mining if it's not profitable? Seems it hasn't been for quite some time. @fejau_inc @qthomp

tl;dr: while everyone' is watching "emerging" chains celebrate $5k-30k daily revenue, pendle quietly built a $43m revenue machine with massive tvl growth and real utility. sometimes the best plays are hiding in plain sight. not financial advice, but these numbers don't lie 👀 pendle

pendle: the $65k daily revenue story everyone is celebrating "emerging" chains doing tiny daily revenue meanwhile @pendle_fi just casually generated $43.68m in annual revenue with a $1.53b fdv while l1s with 3-5x higher valuations do less real business thread on why this makes zero sense 🧵

Heard a very interesting concept on Taxation, the term is slipping my mind Fair value tax: People independently value their own businesses, and pay tax on the EV of their company. Anybody can come in a bid for said company at the taxation price, and that person is forced to transact.

Investors of @lekker_cap just received a long research report on our playbook for the rest of 2025. It's up there with some of the best work we've ever done and presents a few of our favorite themes, including our highest conviction trade since BTC/Trump victory in November.

@crypto_condom @CurveFinance I like Cowswap as a bet on this. Im not smart enough to know which DEX is the best. I look at cowswap, and I see the given network to integrate with for best liquidity, always. The gnosis monerium euro card converts from your holdings <-> stables via Cowswap under the hood

@MacroCRG The only thing that would satisfy the people in this comments section is Trump saying that he has opened an account at Coinbase and is currently twaping a million bitcoin over the next 6 months

The ECB says it will limit the amount of money people can store in digital euros to, in their words, "prevent excessive outflows of deposits from banks." It's never a good sign when you have to lock people in...

Looks like crypto transfers are becoming severely restricted in Europe. 1. @coinbase blocking transfers to recipients other than yourself, and if it is a self-custodial wallet, you have to sign a message to prove your ownership

I play chess a lot, and I suck but one thing I notice is that a lot of lower ELO players insta-quit when they lose a big piece in the midgame if your ports are nuked you feel defeated, don't quit. you might just win in the end (or at least force a stalemate)

@hasufl @ByrneHobart It was, actually... I read too quickly... sorry Got stuck on this sentence and thought this was you formulating your opinion that it doesnt make sense: "how can Trump suport a strategic bitcoin reserve _and_ double down on USD as the reserve currency?"

so this logic is actually very interesting. how can Trump suport a strategic bitcoin reserve _and_ double down on USD as the reserve currency? @ByrneHobart made the interesting point that if BTC is a hedge against USD failure, building a strategic bitcoin reserve acually hurts BTC's chances to replace USD, and helps the US extending the dollar's dominance a few decades longer.

@hasufl @ByrneHobart Youre right, i was being presumptive in my language I mean that the current role gold plays in the us's strategic reserves is the same that bitcoin would. In that sense they help the dollar's status...? (hedging / more "backing"?)

@olof1_ @ByrneHobart that's not true! while USD and gold don't exist at the time level in the hierarchy of money, if faith in USD is lost, will see people and nations regress to using gold. preventing this scenario is _exactly_ why the US has a strategic gold reserve.

Ethereum’s $ETH total addressable market is $500T+ (tokenize stocks, bonds, real estate, treasuries, etc) Bitcoin’s $BTC total addressable market is $18T+ (gold 2.0) No need to over complicate things. It’s really that simple You want $500T+ upside OR $18T+ upside? $ETH is king and will flip $BTC within 10 years
