GOTV with @CASAinAction for @KamalaHarris in @PennsylvaniaGov today was life changing. One of the people we met was a man who was released last October from prison after spending 16 years incarcerated. He told us that he was not sure whether he was allowed to vote. I called my friend @AustinDavisPA and he said yes. The man then started to open up about how difficult it has been to find work with his record. He started to cry. It broke our hearts. I took his number, called him so he would have mine and promised to help. 40 minutes later we were done with our doors and needed to use the restroom. There were no stores or restaurants in sight. We started to worry when we noticed a woman coming out of a church. She had just finished holding an event and was locking the church doors. We told her about our predicament and she allowed us to use the bathroom. Afterwards, we thanked her and introduced ourselves. She is Jessica Reed from PA @prisonsociety. I called the man and introduced them. There is no such thing as a coincidence. Thank you God💐
