We are in the fifth month of this. It is definitely cost as much for the policing required over those five months and businesses have been closed and vandalized. One centralized location vs shutting down highways and inconveniencing Canadians across the country. This group comes closer to meeting the requirements of enacting the emergencies act. It’s on a much more national level.

Palestinian demonstrators have taken over Wellington Street and are setting off smoke grenades.
They have a massive sound system built on scaffolding in the middle of the road and they are calling out @JustinTrudeau, saying that he is complicit in genocide.

@wabbitwarrior I would request, in writing, to be notified by the school of any & all upcoming future tests that involve gender. Request your attendance along side your child while completing these tests. This way, your child feels “safe” should HE/SHE not wish to answer. Far too much pressure

Update:
I spoke to my sons teacher this morning and have record of the phone call.
Confirmed:
-Teacher didn't know what was on the survey (he did not preview what he was giving to his students)
-Teacher confirmed that he was told by Principal that students HAD to complete it. Ie: Students were not given the option to abstain.
-Teacher confirmed questions like "What is your sexual preference" were on the survey.
-When asked if he would be comfortable having his own children asked these questions, he answered with "absolutely not"
-Teacher confirmed previous conversations in which he had been given instruction that my son was not to participate in this type of survey or teaching.
-Teacher confirmed the emotional stress this line of questioning could put on a child.
-Teacher agrees that in a work environment, this line of questioning would be considered a form of sexual harassment.
This comes down to: He wasn't informed on what exactly he was giving his students, (culpable: as an educator, should he not be checking what he is giving his students?) and he was just doing what he was told.
Principal is the next scheduled meeting.
I'm not letting this go.

Parents: Do you think it's appropriate that a school should be surveying 12 year olds on their sexuality, gender, sexual preferences, race, religion, etc.? Story time. My son came home from school today visibly upset. Like every day, I asked him how school was, what was spoken about, etc. He said school was OK, except for the survey that they were told they MUST participate in. So, obviously, I asked him about it. And all of the above was pretty much what the survey entailed. And then some. It was the survey itself that made my son uncomfortable, and in his words, "Why is any of this anyone else's business? Who needs to know who I'm attracted to? Aren't these questions discrimination?" This is known as the "Ontario School Climate Survey." Rather than focusing on making the schools a better teaching environment, it is aimed at DEI with a decidedly far left slant, promoting sex, gender, race, and religion over academics. Yes, I have emailed and called the teacher who did this. No, I have not heard back yet. And if you recall, at the beginning of the year, I had written and spoke to the teacher, specifically mentioning that my son was not to participate in this kind of study. I will post a follow-up as soon as I can, as I would like a copy of the survey and to have some strong words with his teacher. I'm livid.
