JUICY NEWS! The @EPRA_KE will permanently revoke the licenses of any Oil Marketing Companies caught hoarding fuel to manipulate market prices. This impending crackdown, backed by CS Wandayi’s directive for immediate prosecution, shall target firms attempting to engineer artificial shortages. Mambo ni Mawili, they either retail at the gazetted prices or face the total dissolution of all business operations under the law.

On 7th April 2026, the Departmental Committee on Energy, chaired by Hon. David Gikaria, issued an invitation to the CS Energy and Petroleum, Hon. @OpiyoWandayi , to appear before it on matters concerning petroleum imports outside the G-to-G framework. On the same date, the CS was already engaged in official duties outside the country, a commitment duly documented within government schedules. The Ministry formally has acknowledged the invitation and communicated the scheduling conflict, requesting a deferment to enable the CS’s appearance at the earliest available opportunity. This is what adherence to institutional procedure, respect for parliamentary oversight, and structured coordination within government operations looks like.

Electric mobility is steadily taking root in Kenya, with over 8.4 million units of electricity consumed under EV tariffs. This growing uptake signals a shift toward cleaner, more affordable transport solutions powered by reliable energy. As adoption increases, e-mobility is not only reducing dependence on fossil fuels but also lowering transport costs, supporting innovation, and positioning Kenya at the forefront of sustainable mobility in the region. @MRSMuruguu

Lakini Hao wakora walikuwa involved in the irregular import deal bypassed established chain of command. Lakini Mambo ni matatu caught up with them. The petroleum import system has clear approval hierarchies involving the Ministry and regulators like the EPRA and KEBS. The fact that they Circumvented these, indicates deliberate exclusion of top oversight.

It is perplexing to see sustained attempts to discredit CS @OpiyoWandayi, even as verified reporting confirms that days of investigations have found no official registry record of the correspondence allegedly copied to him or his office. Most of those spewing that misinformation don’t know taht ALL communication addressed to a Cabinet Secretary MUST be formally captured within ministerial registries and corresponding digital systems, to ensure full traceability and institutional accountability. Excitements za emotional battalion hukua very unrealistic.

They can only fight the @WilliamsRuto ‘s government based on propaganda and NEVER on performance. In a record 3 years, over 1.1 MILLION households have been connected to electricity grid. This is how bottom up works to ensure every Kenyan, even underserved communities, can access electricity and every other development they’re entitled to. With this connections, opportunities for income generation at the household level have been expanded.

If Wamunyoro tries to bring his usual violence and teargas theatrics in Olkalao during the requiem mass of the late MP. David Kiaraho he will run faster than Omanyala towards Kasuku shopping centre with one shoe and his oversized coat on his shoulders. Hii Kenya niya kila mtu. Cc my friend @karanja_javan ✌️

In line with national and global health goals aimed at ensuring that no woman and child dies from complications related to pregnancy, childbirth or the postpartum period, especially when such deaths can be avoided with timely, quality care, Kenya's commitment to 'Zero Preventable Maternal Deaths' is being advanced through the upgrading of the Maternal and Newborn Ward at Kibugua Level 3 Hospital in Tharaka-Nithi County. For ages, the unit operated under strain, with expectant mothers delivering in congested, under-resourced maternity spaces; conditions associated with increased risks of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. The ongoing works delivers a complete transformation of the facility into a modern, fully equipped ward capable of delivering safe, respectful and quality maternal and newborn care. Anchored within the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), the project strengthens primary healthcare at the community level, where most Kenyans seek services and complements access initiatives such as Linda Jamii under the Social Health Authority (SHA). The e State Department for Internal Security and National Administration is facilitating grassroots administrative support and community engagement around the project, helping align local systems with improved health service delivery. Kumbe Siri ya making profits by @KenyaPower ni Broadbased Government? Under CS @OpiyoWandayi, it is worth noting that Kenya Power has returned to profitability after many years of registering losses. This is a huge recovery for the company and a sign that there is improved operational efficiency, stronger revenue collection, and enhanced system management. Baba knew what value he would add to the government, sasa loss bells are long forgotten!

Kenya’s Last Mile Connectivity Project continues to transform the national electrification landscape by extending power access deeper into rural and underserved communities. Through sustained investment in grid expansion, complemented by off-grid solutions such as mini-grids and solar home systems, the country has achieved an electricity access rate of approximately 76.2% of households. This progress is not only bridging the rural–urban divide but also unlocking socio-economic opportunities by enabling small businesses, improving access to digital services, and enhancing the quality of life for millions of Kenyans, all while aligning with the country’s broader transition to a fully renewable and inclusive energy future. @MRSMuruguu

Transport infrastructure is positioned as the backbone of regional trade integration and domestic market efficiency within the National Infrastructure Fund. The primary physical targets include dualling 2,500 km of highways and extending the Standard Gauge Railway to Malaba to improve freight connectivity. These investments are specifically structured to reduce transit costs and increase corridor throughput capacity to strengthen Kenya’s competitive advantage in East Africa. To ensure these transport projects are financially sustainable, the Fund utilizes toll based concession models and performance linked maintenance contracts. Revenue models such as freight tariffs and bulk cargo contracts provide the predictable cash flows necessary to service investor obligations. This approach ensures that infrastructure development transitions from a direct fiscal expenditure into a productive balance sheet expansion.
