@OlympicDrankz @SandyofCthulhu I don’t think storm troopers were ever clones. I thought they are a separate army from the clones in the clone wars. This takes place like 60 or 70 years after those events. Correct me if I’m wrong but that was just my impression

Finn was the most interesting character by far! He had the coolest backstory. NO FAN disliked him. We did hate that Disney didn’t use him properly. Here’s a guy who was a stormtrooper. Does he feel angst about killing other troopers? Does he raise a legion of redeemed former-imperials? No. He shoots down stormtroopers with obvious glee and becomes just a dull sidekick. The fans wanted more. I agree maybe Disney was racist. But the fans weren’t.

John Boyega implies Disney ruined his Finn character in the new Star Wars series because of racism: "You guys knew what to do with Daisy Ridley, you knew what to do with Adam Driver. But when it came to Kelly Marie Tran, when it came to John Boyega, you know f*ck all. So what do you want me to say? What they want you to say is, ‘I enjoyed being a part of it. It was a great experience…’ Nah, nah, nah. I’ll take that deal when it’s a great experience. They gave all the nuance to Adam Driver, all the nuance to Daisy Ridley. Let’s be honest. Daisy knows this. Adam knows this. Everybody knows. I’m not exposing anything."

@derekbwriting *If* an extremely talented man who exemplified the character in every other way had been cast and he happened to be black - most people wouldn't object. We know this isn't that - we know this is agenda and dictate. It's political messaging over art.

Let's be clear. There's a lot of issues with this HBO Harry Potter series. Extra unnecessary added details, pointless raceswaps of minor characters that I, like many other Potterheads, could have overlooked. But Black Snape is such an insulting slap in the face it's a 100% deal breaker.

Warner Bros. spent $1.2 billion to make all eight Harry Potter films. The new TV series reportedly costs $100 million per episode, which would make it the most expensive TV show ever produced. Amazon’s Rings of Power cost $58 million per episode. House of the Dragon, $20 million. Game of Thrones started at $6 million. HBO has planned seven seasons, one for each book, eight episodes per season. That’s 56 episodes. If the per-episode budget holds, the total production cost lands around $5.6 billion. Nearly 5x what all eight original films cost to make, and roughly three-quarters of what the entire franchise has earned at the box office ($7.7 billion) across 25 years. Three weeks ago, Paramount Skydance signed a deal to buy Warner Bros. Discovery for $31 per share, valuing the company at $110 billion including debt. Netflix was bidding too but walked away in late February. Harry Potter sits next to Game of Thrones and the DC Universe as one of the most valuable assets in that deal. WBD has about 132 million Max subscribers today and is projecting 150 million by December. The original films returned almost 7x their production budget at the box office. Generating that kind of return through monthly streaming subscriptions requires a completely different scale of audience, sustained over a decade. They’re reportedly building a “mini city” in the UK specifically for filming, with a price tag around $1.3 billion. A school is being constructed on-site for the child actors. Hans Zimmer is scoring the series. Over 30,000 kids auditioned for three roles. The average Harry Potter film cost $144 million to produce. A single episode of the new series reportedly costs $100 million. Warner Bros. is betting over $5 billion that a streaming franchise can match what a theatrical one did.

It's tempting to call for 25th amendment or impeachment of Trump, but then we'd get Mr. Palantir Project Stargate without an election. And that could make him a stronger favorite for 2028. He could conceivably be in office, as president, from 2026 to 2036. Hell to the no thanks! Make Trump finish out his term. Hang a 2026 midterm beatdown on him for betraying the country. Then defeat Vance in either the primary or the general. That will clear the ground for someone else. A new entrant. The possibility of someone truly America First. If you think it's better to oust Trump now, let me know your reasoning and why Vance should be elevated to the presidency. Because I think that's crazy. We can't afford 10 years of Vance. No more wall-kissers! No more intelligence cutouts!

Patriots read about the Revolutionary War and all that went with it, and rightly bask in it. But it didn't start until a group of men decided that enough was enough, and that (to their dismay) v!olence was going to be necessary. The U.S. has no legitimate leaders, no "bench," no America Only party. We have madness in D.C., taxes to the max, and evil people in charge. And we're drowning in foreigners who are anti-assimilation at best and anti-America at worst. AT this point, very very sadly, there is now clearly no pe@ceful path out of this disaster. What we need is another group of men... @lsferguson @HealthRanger @Villgecrazylady @ImBreckWorsham @patriot_hammer @SDSLLC_USA @seanmdav @BasilTheGreat @RenzTom

The chessboard as it stands looks like this: * Gas prices are irrevocably fucked due to recent escalations, prices are $60 apart between paper and physical oil due to heavy US market manipulation, but they can't do this forever, it's expensive * Trump needs to end this soon. He only has 1 unplayed card left, a direct assault on Kharg island and Iran's southwest shores * He's sending 8000 members with limited support to assault an extremely difficult to reach target, some 400 miles into the Persian Gulf, while Iran knows they're coming and has been digging in with UAVs, drones, missiles, fast attack boats, etc * The probability that it succeeds is very low. The probability that Trump backs off before going in is high. He wants a deal with Iran, however awful, if it can end the Strait closure * Iran won't concede an end until the threat of future attack is off the table, they know they can't pull this move off again. This necessarily means neutering Israel completely * The US can't concede that because of US state capture by Israel. Instead the conflict on the ground with Lebanon will likely decide if Israel surrenders or not * Knowing this, it tactically makes more sense for the US to send their Marines to Lebanon, and not to fight Iran at home * If the US can successfully defend Israel, they make both be forced into negotiations

You really have to do business with a boomer to know what we’re talking about. They’re the king of spending a dollar to save a dime. They’ll try and sell you a house with a leaky roof, throw a fit when you find out about it, throw another when you ask them to fix it…
Ava@roseanneluver18

Are the millennials who endlessly blame boomers specifically for home prices being so high gonna make sure when they go to sell their house in 30 years that they lower the price significantly from its inflated value out of the goodness of their hearts lol

Villeneuve is releasing Dune 3 on the exact same day as Avengers: Doomsday. And he locked up IMAX exclusivity for opening weekend. Run the format math. Dune 3 is shot entirely on 65mm film stock, 15-perf IMAX for the big sequences, 5-perf 65mm for the rest. Villeneuve hired Linus Sandgren, the La La Land DP who won’t touch a digital camera, and went native film from day one. The IMAX prints originate on the negative. 18K equivalent resolution. No upscaling, no digital intermediary. Avengers: Doomsday is shot digitally. Standard practice for Marvel. Which means on December 18, Dune owns every IMAX screen in the US and Marvel can’t buy a single one on opening night. Disney spent somewhere between $500 and $600 million producing Doomsday. They need $1 billion just to break even. And they don’t have IMAX. Dune: Part Two cost roughly $190 million and grossed $715 million worldwide, with $145 million from IMAX alone. That’s 20% of total gross coming from a format Marvel can’t access on the biggest revenue weekend of the release. Warner Bros. claimed December 18 first. Disney moved Doomsday there from May 2026 after already pushing it from May 2025. Three release dates in two years. Villeneuve wrapped filming in November 2025 and hasn’t moved once. A $190 million film just bodied a $600 million film out of every premium screen in America before a single trailer dropped. The MCU is getting mogged by a guy in a stillsuit.

The point went over your head. Over a long run (like say the span of a 20 or 30 year mortgage) the market returns average out to 10%. I literally picked the worst year in the last 30 that you could have put $20,000 in the market, watch it drop 30% the next day and you'd still be up $110,000 over less than 20 years.

This is not good advice. If you have a low interest rate loan, historically you will absolutely get a better return investing the money you would use to pay off the mortgage early. Mortgage interest is also tax deductible. If you invested $20,000 in the S&P 500 BEFORE the last big crash we had in US markets, the 2007 great recession it would now be worth $130,000 which is an annualized rate of return of about 10%-11%, far more than the interest paid (about $13,000 in interest over that same period at 5%). Then you could take that money which is only taxed as capital gains (25%) and pay off the house early if you choose to. This isn't about "feeling good" or "security". It's math.
ContractorKeith@contractorkeith

Fact: If you pay your house off it’s always paid off. Fact: if you instead put that money into stocks based on “historic data” and the market crashes, you could lose it all, or a big portion. And you would still owe on the house. I will never understand how staying in debt supersedes investment money. Pay off the mortgage then start investing that amount but be debt free. The secure feeling alone is worth it. Plus a paid for home grows in value, can be used as a rental, etc. I am far from Dave Ramsay on debt but if you’ve ever lost everything and been homeless during 2008 or another crash you might know where I am coming from, too many people only look at the last 10-15yrs of data.

Being muslim is definitionally anti American. You cannot be a muslim and an American at the same time. They are incompatible. Being one requires renouncing the other. What do you think the split on that renunciation is? We constantly hear leftists cite “Separation of Church and State” whenever they are making some boilerplate antichristian argument. They of course do not apply this doctrine to Islam. Islam of course does not permit this separation. To be a muslim means to practice Sharia which by definition is a system that must govern all aspects of life. The church is the state. This is not optional. It is inherent to the religion. That is not a separation of church and state. The Declaration of Independence says that all men are created equal with unalienable rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Islam categorizes people into muslims, “dhimmis” (non muslims paying tax under muslim rule), and “harbis” (enemies). Inequality with alienable rights. To quote the Koran: “fight those who do not believe in allah… and who do not adopt the religion of truth… until they give the tax willingly while they are humbled.” That’s not very aligned with life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To be a faithful muslim of course means to adhere to this command in direct contradiction to the founding principles of America. The preamble to the U.S. Constitution plainly vows to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity through a government “of the people, by the people, for the people.” In Islam governance is derived from divine sovereignty and explicitly not popular consent. Laws are derived from revelation and not majority will. Antithetical to democracy. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land in America. For muslims Sharia law overrides any human-made law. “And whoever does not judge by what allah has revealed— then it is those who are the disbelievers.” You cannot be a muslim if you do not adhere to this. You literally cannot swear loyalty to the Constitution if you are a muslim. The first amendment, freedom of speech, is in direct conflict with Islam. In Islam, anything deemed blasphemy or apostasy is punishable by death. Ask France. No such punishment exists for Americans. We don’t do that here. You can go line for line through any foundational American law and principle and find a direct quote from the Koran in contradiction to it. You cannot be a muslim unless you adhere strictly to the Koran. You cannot be American and Muslim simultaneously. There are countless muslim countries that follow islamic doctrine. America is not and will never be one of them. Leave
