I made a tool that allows you to add or remove delay while streaming without the need of restarting your stream or OBS, without the need of a dual PC or any external plugins. This is the tutorial how to use it.

I think of it like poker, BRs like Apex have luck involved which means lower skilled players can get lucky and enjoy. Just like in poker, the best poker player in the world could lose to a lucky noob. More noobs = more players keeps the game alive. No noob is ever getting lucky in Quake. Game is raw skill, and this has ended up sadly in its downfall.

@Jarek_Dragon Apex Legends is way harder to learn and is far more complicated in every way, despite being worse to play, yet it has players, so I disagree. I think it's just a lack of an interesting mode. Trios is way better than anything in Quake. Put that in Quake and I'd never play Apex.

Arena shooters are hard to learn, hard to master. Games get big on being easy to learn, difficult to master. There is no blame to any company for an arena shooter dying. Arena shooters are no longer trendy and they're not friendly to new players. It's just how it is.

@Angel_foxxo For me I find that models stand out more at a distance on bilinear/trilinear because the floors/walls have less detail so I much prefer it.
