@SWVirgo432 @SamaHoole So Parmesan isn't Parmigiano, it's just some made up name that's similar enough to fool people. I did not know that. Thank you.

@SamaHoole This example is true, but as an American, I know that the FDA couldn't care less about what's in our food or what companies produce for consumption. They're a 3-letter govt agency that protects govt and Big pHARMa, not us.

"100% Grated Parmesan Cheese." That's what the label says. That is, in fact, the literal text the manufacturer has chosen to place on the front of the package. The 100% refers to a feeling, not a chemistry. In 2012, the FDA raided Castle Cheese in Pennsylvania, a major supplier of grated cheese to American supermarkets. The 100% Parmesan they were selling was 0% Parmesan. It was a blend of cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, and powdered cellulose, the last of which is, in industrial terms, wood pulp. Or to be more specific: fine fibres extracted from the cell walls of trees and processed into a flowable powder used to stop the cheese from clumping in the shaker. The Castle Cheese executive went to prison. The company went bankrupt. The practice continued. In 2016, Bloomberg commissioned independent lab testing of major American "100% Parmesan" products. Kraft's product contained 3.8% cellulose. Some Walmart and Albertsons store brands tested as high as 9%. The accepted industry threshold for "anti-clumping" cellulose use is 2 to 4%. The cheese is partly wood. The Italians, who have been making the actual cheese for a thousand years, can only sell their version under EU protection as Parmigiano Reggiano: three ingredients, milk, rennet, salt, aged in a 75-pound wheel for at least twelve months in a specific geographic region with the name burned into the rind in dotted pin lettering. The American "Parmesan" can be anything. The American "Parmesan" can be sawdust. The Italian cheese costs more. The Italian cheese is more. The price of food is sometimes the price of food being food.

@BlueWizard777 I feel the same about plants. For the most part I use them for flavor, like garlic, onion, tomato, cilantro. I like a side of potatoes. But I don't enjoy eating a bunch of vegetables just to eat vegetables.

@brandilwells Once I became more carnivorous I found plant foods became more just flavorings or little bits on side I do love fresh berries and such but I can’t pretend even Whole Foods is selling anything but poison these days

They’re in hazmat suits spraying our fruits and vegetables, but don’t worry, they’re still safe to eat. 😤 The only way to get these toxic pesticides off of fruits and vegetables is to wash them with baking soda and water or baking soda and vinegar.

@FKubelic I don't eat burgers or breakfast sandwiches very often, but when I do, I eat them with just one half of the bun, so either just a top or just a bottom.

@ElieJarrougeMD And every time I do that, I feel a little pride instead of eating the muffin and feeling depressed and defeated yet again. That muffin would have stimulated my appetite AND made me gain a couple pounds. I finally got tired of that happening over and over.

Bariatric surgery doesn’t fix your eating habits. That’s why weight regain is common within a few years. GLP-1s face the same risk unless habits change. And if you truly change your behavior and eating habits, you won’t need surgery or the injections in the first place.

@PattrnRecognizr I agree, and I think the AI is likely so advanced that it doesn't even really need all those enormous data centers or the water. I think it's just saying it needs those things in order to steal the land and water and destroy the food supply.

@landofthe80s @Wendys The burger was great, the fries were unique, the Frosty was fantastic. I always dipped the fries in the Frosty. The heat of the fries helped prevent brain freeze. Wendy's was never the same after they got rid of their unique fries.

I know a lot of us have pretty much given up on sports, but there's one event left that I plan to pay some attention to, and that's the World Cup next month. It might all be a pointless and rigged waste of time, but I've been rooting for CR since 2006, so one last time.

@SWVirgo432 @mj196410 The people I knew after high school that drank beer usually drank Budweiser, but they preferred Michelob in a bottle. None of those other beers were a factor at all.

@chuckles576 @Green_k100 Bras cause sagging. When breasts are forced to hold themselves up without support, they are inevitably perkier and more lifted. I also have small boobs so with big boobs, they will inevitably sag either way. Bras being the biggest contributor.

@cbch54898101 @HighImpactFlix This has been happening to me in real life. Things I write about in fiction, or read about, or worry about, are showing up in bad ways in my real life this year. Being spied on by tech can't cause real-life problems to instantly show up. Maybe 'Law of Attraction' is increasing.

Lemme tell you what just happened at the gym. First, when I work out, I just concentrate, hit it hard and get it done. Nose to the grindstone. No chatting, no phone, no looking around or wasting time. Git er done, break the target muscles down and get the hell out. That's my MO. But tonight, in between sets, I happened to look up in the direction of the row of cardio equipment. On the treadmill was a woman, probably in her mid to late thirties, giving it all she had. I mean, you could tell, she wasn't playing around or taking it easy. She had no legs. Both prosthetics were attached to her upper thighs and she was going as fast as she could. I just happened to be working legs and was immediately struck with humility, thankfulness and, frankly, inspiration. I could not get her work ethic, grit and handicap out of my mind during my next set. That inspiration gave me the drive to get two more reps with heavier weight. After that set I was compelled, as if by some irresistible force, to walk up to her and tell her how much she inspired me in that moment and to not give up. I said, "I'm sure you inspire others even though they may never let you know." She beamed from ear to ear. It was a fantastic and special moment. Then, get this, I finish my workout, I go back to the truck and grab my phone to finish uploading a video I was working on earlier. When I opened YouTube, the first video recommended to me was a woman with no arms or legs demonstrating how she washes her hair. I have NEVER been recommended such a video! Nor have I ever seen a person with no legs running on a treadmill. Mind you, I never bring my phone into the gym, so that wasn't a factor. Is that just a coincidence? Have you ever had anything like that happen to you?

@Aflgirl13845 @AppWoodHome We're in this mess because most people don't know how to do the most basic natural survival skills. Those things were purposely left out of our 'schooling' to make us dependent on 'the system.' Being dependent on corporations for our survival needs isn't 'wealth'.

The Official Vitamin D Optimisation Protocol (Not endorsed by anyone with a marketing budget) Step 1: Cancel your supplement subscription. You will not need it. Step 2: Bin every seed oil in the house. Sunflower. Rapeseed. The "vegetable oil" with no specified vegetable. Yes, the expensive one too. Step 3: Replace with butter, tallow, lard, ghee, and the dripping you've been told to throw away. Step 4: Eat all the beef, cheese, eggs, and butter in sight. Then find some more. Step 5: Go outside. I know. Radical. Step 6: Roll up your sleeves. Expose the parts of you that haven't seen daylight since the second lockdown. Step 7: Build up gradually. Ten minutes. Then twenty. The factor 50 industry would prefer you forgot that your skin has been doing this for millions of years. Step 8: Wait three months. Better sleep. Steadier mood. Skin that tans where it used to burn. Step 9: Reap the profits. Supplement money: yours. Sunscreen money: yours. Statin money: yours. The decade you'd have spent slightly tired and slightly inflamed: yours. Step 10: Tell precisely no one. Smile. Nod. Go back outside.

SOMEBODY HAS TO SAY IT SO I WILL: Did Israel give Tulsi Gabbard’s husband the rare bone cancer so they could hold the cure over her head and use it as an insurance policy to prevent her speaking out about the war in Iran, and pulling a “Joe Kent 2.0”?

@The_Duggery @LibertySavage01 Following along with Q posts from beginning through spring of 2019 was so interesting! The main message was trust yourself, which I already did, so I was never 'all in' on the trusting anyone else. It started going down hill when JA was dragged out of the embassy.
