@LChi981 Obviously you wouldn't use non-deformable mesh in a setting that doesn't require it, if you only need basic bullet decals then POMs are pretty good and gets the job done. Even a huge game like Crimson Desert could get away with screen space POMs basically

@Kayhotic_Games @_3sphere @galiumodoratum Nanite cannot compensate for poorly optimized textures or expensive shader math. Dropping unoptimized assets into the engine WILL still yield bad performance. Assets moving via material (waving grass, rippling water, etc) face rendering perform horribly and filesize is bloated.

Decided to balance the multi-projectile reflect by having parries damage your weapon's durability. It won't break until the animation finishes though, so you can reflect any number of bullets at once #gamedev #screenshotsaturday
