But we were pretty busy getting multiplayer working and porting @openblocksapp to standalone headsets. So it made sense to focus our time on the things we already were excited about.

Early Christmas present for the Open Brush community. v2.13 has just been released with tons of amazing new features. Powerful plugin system, .vox and @openblocksapp import, publish to @VIVERSEofficial and lots more. Free and open source forever!

It's done. GPT-5 built the Portal iOS controller. There were several iOS specific issues, I spent about 50% of my time on this since Thursday. It's the closest I've come to pure vibe coding. The result: here I am doing 3D modeling in VR with my iPhone. (Using Open Blocks.)

Meta has essentially launched its (limited scope) Unity competitor for Quest, web, and mobile game/world creation. Has asset importing, TypeScript, UI support, NPC behavior, and (in the US) AI generation of SFX, with AI 3D asset generation coming later this year.

My wife and I tried OpenBlocks tonight and quickly picked up the controls. V1 is immediately useful for blocking out ideas and is quite intuitive.
