All subscription businesses have one huge problem in common: 10-20% failed payments I want to share one quick insight that may be helpful. When filtering and looking through failed payments based on the payment source which are mainly: shop pay, credit cards, paypal and apple pay.... Paypal has the highest realized payments sitting at 96% while the other 3 are below 90% I think the reason is this: With paypal most people have multiple cards connected. I personally have 3 cards connected. So, when I subscribe with my paypal account, even if one of my cards declines for whatever reason like insufficient funds, or expired card, etc - Paypal uses your other back up cards to make the transaction happen, which is why it has 96% success rate. So, although paypal does have higher processing fees, it's well worth it and make sure to have it as an option for your subscribers.
