@cameronlacroix @andywal05089362 @atrupar @ChrisVanHollen That's not an opinion. Public records confirm that you are, in fact, a career criminal.
English

@andywal05089362 @atrupar @ChrisVanHollen You have a right to an opinion but harassing commentary tells loads about your character.

VAN HOLLEN: An individual who was pardoned by Trump went on to molest two children, and he tried to buy their silence by saying he would give them funds from your slush fund. Can you commit to not making that person eligible for a payout?
BLANCHE: You're obviously lying in your question
VAN HOLLEN: I am reporting what he said
English

@bravohorn1 @JuddLegum Then why was this one marked "UNSOLICITED?"
English

@JuddLegum Every politician and their mother, brother and children are engaged in insider trading. If, and thats a big if, your story is true, so fucking what. One thing I can assure is Trump didn't "personally" invest in any stock.
English

1. On March 11, Trump toured a Thermo Fisher Scientific facility in Ohio and repeatedly praised the company.
On *the same day* Trump bought between $15,000 and $50,000 of Thermo Fisher stock.
The purchase was "UNSOLICITED," meaning it was requested by the customer, not recommended by an advisor.
English

@KevinEger2 @mk9577 @stoolpresidente Do you have an ABSOLUTE right to free speech? No limits whatsoever?
English

@mk9577 @stoolpresidente Sure it is. Arms are arms. That argument has never worked. And it's working less now. 2A is not getting less popular. At all. How about 1A, speech control. That's right next to 2A. You avoided that.

@soilrespecter @FinkUp100 @TreVeyonH4 @FootballCravee But it says something about you when you pick and choose what "sins" to focus on.

@GregGrn3 @RealAlexJones Why would Iran believe it, then?
English

@RealAlexJones That's' exactly what Trump wants the IRGC to think, so they will take things more seriously and make a deal. He won't actually do it, and you know this.

@Pony_WanKenobi @EdKrassen Muggsy Bogues says go fuck yourself.
English

@EdKrassen No, it's called injecting reality into the situation
There's nothing wrong with having dreams, so long as they are realistic and attainable
For example, if some one had tried to push YOU into being an NBA player when you were young would have been a great disservice to you

Trump just mocked a little girl for being short, and stomped on her ambitions.
Little Girl: “I play volleyball and in the summer I’m trying to get into soccer.”
Trump: “And with your height do you smash the volleyball. Can you get up high? Can you jump high?”
Little Girl: “Not very.”
Trump: “Soccer might be better.”

@grok @EdKrassen @GuntherEagleman One last note, didn’t Biden tap the national reserves and brought prices down by plummeting the reserves to their lowest levels in a very long time?

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader That's not how logic works, though. You're asserting that it's essential, you'd need to demonstrate that. It's not my job to prove a negative.
The problem with presup arguments is that they all boil down to "Well, how do you know ANYTHING is true?" I don't, but neither do you.
English

@ora_unleashed @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader Well, you could refute the claim that it's essential, no? You have yet to do that. If you're burnt on the topic, no hard feelings.
English

"You don't matter to the universe in general." and "You matter to other humans." are not mutually exclusive concepts you absolute duncecap.
JasonMemez@jason_memez
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader I appreciate the civility, but I'd really like to move on now. You're not saying anything new, this is a pretty standard presup script. There's no way to really engage with any of it, since it's all asserted and untestable. I don't see any benefit to continuing.
English

That's why i adopted the framework. It's the closest thing to a logically coherent infallible framework that is honest with human nature.
Yes, the Christian world view is that God IS the logos, the logic. It's why discoveries follow the systems we've discovered, we're discovering the framework in so much as humans can interact with it.
The problem we're arriving at is that you would like to make absolute truth claims, but there's no justification for that without the appeal i've come to terms with. You could reject the need for truth claims, but I'd imagine your reluctance to do so is rooted in a similar understanding of it's necessity that i also recognize.
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader ...right. It's unfalsifiable. You say there's an infallible being that tells you exactly what's right & wrong, and there's no way you can be wrong about that.
I agree, it's bulletproof. There's just no way to demonstrate that any of it's true, so...it's useless.
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader I can't convince you because your moral framework won't allow you to be wrong. You're reporting to an ultimate, infallible authority. You believe logic is rooted in God; if any point I bring up undermines that, then the problem must be with my point, not your God's perfect logic.
English

I mean... that begs the question as to why can't you convince me. Personally i think you would've changed the hypothetical if you understood cuz it doesn't serve you the way you want it to. I'm open to making concessions where appropriate.
But yes, i think anyone who doesn't appeal to a higher authority is a subjectivist. The reason for that is because they have no means of legitimizing their perception without using their perception. It's a human logic limitation.
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader OK. I can't convince you that I understand. But I've heard this argument before, and there are valid criticisms of it. Putting aside that none of what you're asserting is demonstrable, you're still depending on some being's subjective morality.
We can leave it here, if you want.
English

@ora_unleashed @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader Morality from a Christian world view is entwined (if not part of) the logos. If he changes logic of our reality, i would adapt and it would be perfectly fine. I don't think you're fully understanding the hypothetical you're giving me.
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader I understand what you're saying, but that's just special pleading to get around the problem. You already said that if Jesus changed the rules tomorrow, your morality would change accordingly. Your morality is just as subjective as mine.
English

The Christian worldview says that God's will is the logos. This interweaves logic and morality as one larger system designed by God. People can look to the bible to try to make other claims, but it doesn't change what is truth. The expectation of absolute truth even existing is deeply religious. It's only subjective if analized by your framwork because it denies the legitimacy using self reference. That's anti-logic and the ultimate reason I became a Christian.
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader That's all well and good, but that doesn't change the fact that it's subjective. You're appealing to some being's will for your morality, and if that being comes out and says something different tomorrow, you'd have to change your morality to match theirs.
English

@FleshArchon @ora_unleashed @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader Look into agrippa's trilemma. If you break down philosphy, you will realize that any framework has to make an appeal at some point. Believing in divine creation and having doctrine is a means of of that escape because it presupposes a higher order of logic that is the logos.
English

@HeKS44364823 @TheUnboundWord @Timcast ...again, there's video of him saying the exact words he claimed he didn't say. It's nuts that anyone is defending him on this.
English

@ora_unleashed @TheUnboundWord @Timcast Don't be ridiculous. The clip of him saying it was added in post, not shown to him. He was read a quote & didn't think he'd worded it that way. He was wrong about the words but right about the framing. He was addressing what OTHERS were asking & his answer undermined it.

Tucker claims the words "could this be the antichrist?" never left his lips. NYT shows a clip of him saying exactly that:
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader I appreciate your honesty. And I hope that you can reflect on it and realize that, by your own admission, your morality is just as subjective as an atheist's.
You say your morality comes from logic, but your definition of logic seems to be "whatever God/Jesus says."
English

You're making a what if claim that proves ignorance, but i'll try to answer it in full and good faith.
Jesus (or God) has is the logos, the logic. This would contradict reason and precedent and it would make me question if this was even Jesus.
Scripture discusses frequently the natural order and prescribes things based on it. Among that, one man and one woman living as one flesh is the standard. To change that would be to change human nature. If he was here to change human nature, i would trust him. That's the entailment of your hypothetical.
English

@HeckinDoga @FleshArchon @Salty_Waters_ @SirSicCrusader If Jesus came down tomorrow and said that the polygamy was moral and good, would you believe it to be so?
English

Projection. Mine comes from truth seeking, specifically with logic.
You can't claim your subjective experience is any more meaningful than another unless you appeal to some authority. As for morality, if you have no framework, your morality is flexible and baseless; it makes it not worthy of respect.
