“We will set up our camp in Tijuana, Mexico, which is located on the border with the United States. There are all the training grounds, gyms, a dedicated restaurant, etc. in this camp, and the stadium is very beautiful and modern, and the distance is 55 minutes from our two games in Los Angeles, and it is incredibly shorter than the previous camp in Tucson, Arizona. If we go by bus, it will be 3 hours and 20 minutes. For the second game that we will have in Seattle, it is exactly the same time as we had to leave Tucson, Arizona, and it is 3 hours.

On closer inspection, this looks like an attempt by Ahmadinejad and his supporters to boost his minuscule credentials within Iranian politics. He always suffered from illusions of grandeur, and is an important factor that ultimately caused his downfall within Iranian politics. #Iran

As someone who coauthored the biography of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in my opinion, this is a disinformation campaign initiated by those that tried to assassinate him. This is an assassination attempt gone wrong. It failed. So now disinformation is being used to create chaos within the ranks of the Islamic Republic of #Iran. Article coming up today. (My comments are not directed at the NYT and its great reporters. Rather at those who passed on the information to them.)

Allahyar Sayyadmanesh could’ve been crucial against Belgium, especially in dealing with their main threat, Jeremy Doku.
With his pace, strength, and experience in Belgian football, he could make a real difference and maybe even help us achieve a historic result.
