Honored to join the first Congressional Delegation to Venezuela in a decade.
What was clear from our meetings with people at all levels of government and business was this — President Trump’s decision to remove Maduro set this country on a trajectory to be a key ally of the United States, and an energy powerhouse to benefit us all.
We also toured devastating earthquake damage — proud of the part America is playing to save so many.

I hear you Jack, but the entire electoral system in Venezuela has been rigged for decades, as the recent declassified CIA assessments show. The whole mess, from cleanising the citizenship roles from what Tarek did — importing Iranians & Hezbollah — to creating a voting system that the regime can’t hack, will take time.
