The key challenge, securing at least 25% participation for Greece's defense industry, has reportedly been resolved through a compromise. Hellenic companies are now expected to manufacture critical components, support system integration, help build the command-and-control network, and provide long-term maintenance alongside their Israeli partners. Strengthening Greece's defense industry is the right strategic choice and an investment in our long-term security. At the same time, Greece cannot afford unnecessary delays while critical air defense gaps remain. Turkish drones continue to test our air defenses, making the rapid deployment of the Achilles Shield more urgent than ever. We now look to July with great anticipation. A positive KYSEA decision would mark the beginning of a new era for Greece's air defense. Supporting Hellenic industry and protecting Hellenic skies must advance together.
