Liverpool players right now look like a reflection of Arne Slot. Flat, confused, completely lacking intensity, no clear identity, and no urgency If these poor performances and results continue into next season, I genuinely don’t see him surviving the first 3 months✊

@bbetonye Haven’t you heard some ladies saying, I don’t care if he’s cheating but he shouldn’t cheat to my face, you can never hear a man saying that Thats the difference

@otdavidi Society doesn’t react the same way cause cheating is now a norm, always using ‘men are polygamous in nature’ to cheat!

I can swear with anything, most men will never truly forgive cheating A man can cheat multiple times and still expect the relationship to remain normal, but the moment a woman cheats, everything changes in his head forever 😂 Men are hardly built to truly forgive cheating

@bbetonye I’m not against that as well. But let’s be honest society doesn’t react the same way when a man cheats vs when a woman cheats, and that double standard is the problem. At the end of the day, cheating is cheating. Nobody should tolerate it

@Uchechukwu_Jeny @PrincessSleem Hear what you are saying now Is that the right way to even go about it ? If she noticed that he cheated, why can’t she walk away, cheating back is never a good clapback

@LFCVoltron @LFCLaurie He came second Mancity have always qualified for champions league ever since they won their first league title in 2011/12 season

@LFCLaurie Man City didn’t qualify for the champions league after Mancini won them the league. So did Ranieri. That was why they were sacked. Slot will qualify for champions league next season. When you are citing the examples also provide the context. Frauds.

Mancini won City their first title in 44 years and was sacked a year later due to underperformance. Ranieri won it against 5000/1 odds with Leicester and was sacked nine months later. Why do some act like winning a title with a club as big as ours makes Slot indestructible?

@Lfcbami3 Liverpool won’t bring in new 6 players without selling any But what we really do need is 1 holding midfielder (6) 2 pacy wingers, one for the left and the other for right wing 1 Right back cos of injury prone Bradley and Frimpong 1 striker to cover Ekitike absence

If Liverpool sells any player this summer then they ain’t serious We have a good number of senior players leaving that they need to replace. Selling more is like going from frying pan to fire because I don’t see LFC buying up 10 players this summer . We need like • 4 forwards atm (Ekitike replacement,Mo Salah replacement,Gakpo’s replacement and an extra game changing forward) • 2 midfielders (Holding midfielder and a replacement for Wirtz the fairy) • 2 defenders (An extra rb and a new left back .

@dame_world @MelissaReddy_ That’s not the point The point was that season was a transition season as well and they were fighting for the league with clear identity unlike Slot transition season where it’s the complete opposite

@otdavidi @MelissaReddy_ And Slot won a league with the same players in Klopp’s last season where we fell off after leading the PL title race 🤷🏾‍♂️

Arne Slot is a Premier League title winner, yes, but the conditions for that triumph have disappeared. There are mitigations, yes, but Liverpool are no longer a team to fear, they are deferential, and obliging to the most embattled of sides. It’s not just the style of play that is unrecognisable, but what the team stands for, and how they are seen… bymelissareddy.substack.com/p/arne-slot-is…

“Slot, as Spearman’s algorithm suggested, was perfect for the situation Liverpool WERE in. That was then. It would be surprising if the algorithm found him ‘top of the top’ for where the club are NOW, and their required direction of travel after a season which feels a betrayal not just sylistically, but to the very essence of defiance and courage that had defined the team for a decade”

@MelissaReddy_ That was a good read Arne Slot trying to put his stamp on the team is not bad, but there has not been progress for over 10 months of trying. He needs to fix things as soon as possible and return that intensity to our play and make Liverpool difficult to play against

@JR197512 @dame_world @MelissaReddy_ You are right No one was seeing this season as a transition season, breaking the British record fee 2x in a summer is not a transition, it was a statement that Liverpool are ready to dominate

@dame_world @MelissaReddy_ If you read the article it says at the start of the season the words transition and process weren't being used. People inside the club were talking about dominance about how last summer would never be repeated. The entire narrative has been rewritten to protect this manager.

How do you guys actually view this sport? How do you expect a team in transition to rock up every week/weekend to play high intensity and entertaining football? I am not slot in/out but regardless of the coach, this is a process a team rebuilding has to pass through. You can’t cheat the process. If the title winner is determined by the amount a team spends in a transfer window, Chelsea and United will be competing every season, but they aren’t. Let’s get the old heads out, bring in fresh young talents and we can start talking about playing good football or playing with high intensity
