🚨Arsenal have been fined by UEFA after their 1–1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League. The reason, fans using fireworks, which is strictly prohibited in UEFA competitions. The fine is minor, €2,250, about £1,945, and will be covered by the club. UEFA also issued a formal warning to Arsenal over a delayed kick-off during their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Sporting CP on April 15, 2026. The club and manager Mikel Arteta were cautioned for failing to be ready at the referee’s whistle, breaching UEFA’s matchday timing regulations. Unlike Real Madrid, who were fined €20,000 for a similar delay in their match against Bayern Munich, Arsenal avoided a financial penalty but are now on notice. Any future infractions could lead to fines or touchline bans.

Its a foul. It was a foul when Joelinton did it to Gabriel. It was also a foul when Bijol did it to Joao Pedro a couple of weeks ago. You can’t use both hands to push and get an advantage against your opponent. If there is a push there is a foul. Doesn’t matter if the defender dives.

@SkySportsNews Why is there so much discussion about touch of ball first from Solanke and kicking Guehi. If a defender comes across mid shot and doesn't win the ball and blocks a shot, isn't that a foul? Solanke is in possession. Guehi possibly stands on his foot first as well
