This is the first time I have seen a man willingly decide to abandon what is certain for what is 100% uncertain.

Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu of the House of Representatives signaled his intention to enter the 2027 Abia governorship race. Kalu stated that an important announcement about his governorship ambition will be made at the proper constitutional location in Umuahia, the center of the state's political authority. He said, “I am now in Isialangwa, and they’re saying, ‘Come and run for governor.’ The same way I answered the people of Bende, the same way I answered the people of Obingwa, is the same way I will answer you. “I have received your request for me to run for governor of Abia state, but I will respond. I will respond in the coming days because I don’t want to do it local government by local government. I want to invite all of you to the capital. “When we talk about governorship, when we talk about leading the people of Abia State, there is only one place the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has listed as the right place, the right jurisdiction to exercise the power of the office of the governor, and that is not in any other place but Umuahia. “It will not be in Isialangwa. It will not be in Obingwa or Aba. It will be in Umuahia. So wait for our invitation. We are going to invite you in a few days to come. All of you will come in your numbers and make that request again there at the state capital. When I hear it clearly on that day, I will respond.”

Let me put it in perspective if you still don’t know how ridiculously bad and incompetent this government is;
The five naira note is useless.
The 10 naira note is useless.
The 20 naira note is worthless.
The 50 naira note can only buy a sachet of water and gum.
N100? Three sachets of water.
N200 can’t buy one egg.
How about the highest naira denomination?
N1,000 cannot buy bread.
N1,000 cannot buy sardines.
N1,000 cannot buy a liter of fuel.
N1,000 cannot buy a liter of juice.
N1,000 cannot buy a plate of street food.
So, for a poor Nigerian to be able to feed at least 2x a day, they’ll spend between 3-7k (note: I’m talking about poor Nigerians here). Let’s assume they spend 4k per day on food. 4,000 × 30 = 120,000 monthly.
Where do you think they’ll be able to see that kind of money, only for food?
Tinubu must go, and it shall never be well with all of you supporting this government. You’ll ask God for peace and prosperity, and He will forsake you. 🙏🏾

@AtakataJakarta @VillageParrot 99% is far fetched for the 3 states, he’ll win Ekiti State because of the docility of the people and the youths there are highly uninterested in politics.
However, same cannot be said with Ondo and Ogun State, without rigging, he won’t get more than 50% or less of the votes.

So yesterday a guy came to a bet9ja shop where i was watching UCL games and claim a bet of 180k he won, he decided to play virtual bet. Luckily he won and raise the money to 215k & out of excitement he gave the guys there 5k to buy drinks and left.

Standing Up for Democracy
Today, I joined fellow Nigerians, leaders, and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by National Chairman Sen. David Mark to participate in a peaceful "Save Democracy" protest.
This event was not just an effort to protect our democracy; it was also a moment of reflection on how far we have fallen as a nation. We must resist the suffocation of our democracy by those who once claimed to have sacrificed to defend it, but are now doing everything possible to undermine it and silence opposition.
History will not be kind to those who traded the struggle for democracy for the comfort of power. We will not remain silent, we will not be intimidated, and we will not surrender the future of this nation. The will of the people must prevail—stronger, louder, and impossible to suppress.
