The Liberal government's lawful access bill is now drawing attention beyond our borders, including in the United States as concerns grow over privacy, encryption, and government surveillance powers. Experts, tech companies, and civil liberties advocates continue to warn that Bill C-22 (Lawful Access) could weaken digital privacy protections and expand state access to Canadians’ personal information. Canadians should not have to trade away their privacy and freedoms in the name of government surveillance. We need laws that protect public safety while also defending the fundamental civil liberties that Canadians value.

@vesperdigital I am sorry your family went through this unfairness. It is why we opposed having an election during the crisis & why we opposed the mandate & unfair policies that would impact the economic wellbeing of families. That said, social media has misled people & reinforced division.

I lost almost my entire social circle. My wife and kids got treated like garbage by people who were supposed to love them. Family turned on us for three years while some spoiled drama teacher with a God complex stood at a podium and told millions of Canadians for 3 years we were degenerate diseased animals. And now you think the problem is Twitter? No Erin. People aren’t angry because of an app dimwit. They’re angry because they got screwed and traumatized, and now morons like you want to blame a phone instead of the people who did it and still haven't had the decency to apologize. Parasite

@RealMattA_ It is quite sad how fear and anger during the pandemic changed many people. My concern with social media is that the algorithm never lets them escape that fear and anger even years later.

@mrsunshinebaby @cazzjenkins The bigger issue here is the spectre of election fraud. If it’s happening within the Liberal Party, it’s obviously happening federally.

This is the first time a Liberal MP has experienced the consequence of his own mass immigration policies.

British Columbians are seeing women’s rights under attack in the US and they are worried about Trump’s copycats here at home. So let me be clear: our government is expanding the scope of practice for midwives — including the ability to prescribe mifegymiso, the abortion pill.

@KatlynHarrison You clearly missed the plot or work for the Americans. Water’s edge my dear. And we have a deal: #CUSMA whichbthe Orange Felon signed, touting it the beat deal in history. Not worth the paper. How does one make a deal with people who don’t respect the deal they made? #cdnpoli

On Monday the Prime Minister said that a trade deal with the US could be hammered out "within days" if the US came to the table. Well - here's the US saying that they want to talk. What new excuse will we find next week for why that can't happen? #cdnpol nationalnewswatch.com/2026/04/30/tru…

BREAKING @KellyDeRidderMP outlines how the Liberals have been actively trying to recruit her, to cross the floor. She outlines how they do it. How they engage in the conversations. And what they offered her. THIS IS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DEMOCRACY. It’s all about power

🤑“CALL IN THE AUDITORS!” says Dan Mazier, Conservative MP for Riding Mountain and Shadow Minister for Health. “The Liberals spent more than $300 million on a program they promised would replace fax machines for prescription drugs. Today, fewer than 5% of prescriptions go through PrescribeIT. Only in Ottawa can a program burn through taxpayer money, fail to deliver, and then get rewarded with another $50 million. Under this government, failure isn’t punished — it’s funded. Who got rich?” Source: Canadian Public Affairs Channel (CPAC). (2026, April 27). Vancouver’s climate cult is at it again: 🔥CALIFORNIA HEAT INCOMING!!” Meanwhile, reality: 5X the population since 1954. Same three pathetic reservoirs. Water per person down ~80%. They didn’t run out of rain — they ran out of competence. 75 years of zero serious infrastructure while virtue-signaling about the weather. Crying about climate change is easier than actually building reservoirs, apparently. @fumano @VaughnPalmer

They didn’t “run out of rain” — they just never bothered to build anything for 75 years. PEAK GREEN HYPOCRISY #MetroVancouver #Vancouver #YVR #ClimateHypocrisy #WaterRestrictions

Apparently, it takes 2 cars, 2 drivers and 4 body guards for the Governor General to go get BBQ chicken. The grift and absolute entitlement is off the charts in this country. It infuriates me. Here I am re-using tea bags and these assholes are acting like Queens
