@TheEXECUTlONER_ Very eloquent & spot on. I just have one question: what country/land has been reserved for people of unacceptable right-think? I’d like to know what visa I need to apply for. We can all move then & happily live together, as we watch this lot crash & burn

I wish I could share this a million times. Listen to what this gentleman so eloquently states. “If you are wondering why the society you have lived in all your life feels as if it is being pulled from under you like a rug, it’s because while you weren’t paying attention your wholesome values were quietly reclassified as ugly prejudices and now you are the problem.” Listen to what he says. Everything we stand for, grew up on, is under attack and our values and beliefs are being thrown at us and now we are being called the problem. He says it so eloquently and he is 100% correct. There is a war being waged on us, on our values, on our morals.

Japanese man shocked to find out that London is less than 36% White British. This is because in every other country round the world, it is normal for the native people of a nation to be a majority in their own cities. Only the West is suicidal.

To spend an interview with the Leader of the Opposition on a supposedly serious news programme beating her up for not watching a particular TV drama (not a documentary as they kept calling it) is quite surreal. Ms Badenoch politely held her ground well. I would have been rather more robust with the interlocutors.

A totally bonkers interview in which BBC presenters interrogate a politician because she hasn’t watched a TV show…

@Casey5122dark @_internalexile Tom is one of those who seems to imagine his pet causes should be supported by the state and billionaire ideologues, while those causes he can't wrap his closed mind around should be starved of support. I support Iona, as do a significant number of devout Catholics in our nation

The Iona Institute is a research institute. In the USA, you have, for example, the Hoover Institute, the Beacon Hill Institute, the Berggruen Institute, the Caesar Rodney Institute and many others. Nothing unusual about this use of the term ‘institute’. And why a concern about its funding (the term ‘loot’ is more than a little tendentious!) since none of it is coming from taxes extracted from Irish citizens. One doesn’t have to wonder about it unless one is give to conspiratorial musings.
Tom Doorley@tomdoorley

One has to wonder how the Iona "Institute" (institute? Seriously?!!) is funded. It's not existing on a hand to mouth basis, certainly. And I'm guessing the loot is not coming from devout Irish Roman Catholics...

BREAKING: The European Union says they're ready to negotiate with the United States, says they've offered zero for zero tariffs. The announcement was made by European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen. "Europe is always ready for a good deal. So we keep it on the table,” she said. Von der Leyen added the EU "offered zero for zero tariffs for industrial goods, … because Europe is always ready for good deal."

This man thinks puberty is a medical condition if a child “is in the incorrect body.” He then informed me I’m at a university campus “where people are highly educated and know about this.” I then asked these superior learned people what gender is and I learned that “gender is what you identify as — it doesn’t really matter.” Oh, well I’m just a peasant and I’m still confused so I asked if a girl says she’s a boy, what makes her a boy? “Uh, the fact that she thinks that.” Oh, that clears things up. Class dismissed!

@OneDadsFinance @FedPoasting We’re going to have to see if the tariffs are truly the same as last time or if the de-globalisation element matters. If they’ve ship out many of the production jobs & only left with service jobs, there’s a lot more at stake than previous tariff wars

Despite never having been on a plane and seldom ever having been outside of Arkansas, they managed to put both my mom and aunt through college and graduate school without requiring them to incur even a dime of debt. This was the 1990s. Then at the age of 57, my papa and 1,000 of his coworkers were thrown away like a piece of trash after giving that company decades of their lives. And what were they told to do? What was their consolation prize? Learn. To. Code. My papa and nana were born in the 1950s in a place that was quite literally the Wild West just mere decades before their birth. Growing up, neither of them had running water—they drew water from a well, washed up in a tin tub heated over a fire, and went to the restroom in an outhouse. They were both educated in a one-room schoolhouse and both came from families that relied on their farm’s livestock to feed themselves. People like my grandparents built this nation. They built this nation for their children. But because the thing they sought to build wasn’t a stock portfolio or real estate portfolio, the preservation of their homes and communities was not something that Wall Street nor Washington saw as having enough value to be anything more than apathetic about blowing up. 3/6

Nice story & I agree with lots of it & can easily emphasize as my families story here in Canada isn’t so much different. Th solution, however, isn’t to shut yourself off from the world. To increase the tax on the American people & blaming all you failings, real & imagined on outsiders. Outside looking in, it doesn’t look healthy & I want America to be healthy. What Trump is doing now is not a solution. It’s sad.

@KonstantinKisin I’m with you. I’m not completely sure how it’s all going to work out so interested in seeing what unfolds. I do recognise that this has never be tried before. Yes, tariffs have been used before but not attempted de-globalisation, which is what is happening

I am the only person on X who isn't 100% certain that Trump's tariffs will Make America Great Again/Destroy the Global Economy. The reality is economics is complex and not a hard science. We're going to have to wait and see what actually happens.

@VoxJT @AnnieKitzman @MattWalshBlog Glad you said it. To equate stabbing someone to death with moving a person’s stuff who has been told they shouldn’t be there is off the Richter scale nuts. And then 17 year olds should get an adult involved? When the hell are they supposed to grow up???

I’m sorry, but WTAF is wrong with you? Maybe Karmelo shouldn’t have been trespassing in their space. Maybe when someone touched his bag he shouldn’t have responded with LETHAL F*CKING FORCE. Maybe, just MAYBE he doesn’t belong in society if he can’t control his emotions. But sure, go ahead and blame the victim. It’s not like he’s going to defend himself since HE’S DEAD.

If I told you that a young man stabbed another young man to death for telling him that he was in the wrong seat, and then I told you that one young man in this altercation was white and the other black, and then I asked you to guess the race of the assailant, every single person would know the answer immediately. Young black males are violent to a wildly, outrageously disproportionate degree. That’s just a fact. We all know it. And it’s time that we speak honestly about it, or nothing will ever change.
