It should not be lost how impressive it is for Ethereum to upgrade the entire network without a hiccup. This is already hard for centralized systems to do, it's magnitudes harder for a decentralized network to pull off. It's like upgrading an airplane's engines mid flight.

We're basically now in an AI Coding Agent arms race. OpenAI just dropped $3BN on Windsurf, Cursor raising $900M & Apple partnering with Anthropic to build their own. they're all trying to platform the future zuckerburgs, musks imagine owning the toolkit for building multi-trillion $ companies. Personally think this provides a huge opportunity for an open source competitor. One which makes it stupidly simple to: - create + deploy smart contracts - hookup any AI model & post-train it via RL gyms. - inference any cloud or compute provider - own & monetize your data. the good news? this is already being built by difference web3 players. @virtuals_io @arcdotfun leveraging ACP & MCP to allow builders to make any kind of app. @hyperbolic_labs lets you inference 99% of models, @NousResearch just launched a bunch of open source RL environments that you can use to train your agent. @vana lets you own your data & have it used to train models (and be paid from that). @PluralisHQ working on allowing you to own the model you train. open source web3 is the only industry that can compete here imo slowly but surely.

idk if there's any COO podcasts out there focused on how companies are actually built –– but if you run one you should absolutely have @mcintyre on. His systems are a sign to behold 😍
The crypto industry has so overindexed on hype that many people now think it's more valuable than actually building products that people want and use. You can see this emanating from the communication and focus from many companies in this space. You might even be attacked for saying that it's not the most important thing. This is the direct inverse of how real (actually valuable) software companies should (and do) actually function. Number one focus should be on building something that attracts users. Something that solves a real problem. Something that people want. Get it in the hands of users, and iterate relentlessly. Most else is a distraction.

We just overhauled our entire trading UX in the Abstract portal. The new trading experience should look and feel much more like a traditional DEX, making the user flows much simpler compared to before. The explore page has also been simplified to show trending tokens only.
