You’re certainly no journalist as you like to claim, but rather just another in a long line of uneducated and sociopathic Arab propagandists. So let’s begin today’s school lesson: The document you’re referencing was NOT written or published in 1948, and that’s important. It was written and published in 1947, in November to be precise, and was called the ORE 55 report. It was put together by the CIA shortly after their formation a few months prior, and was published ahead of the UNSCOP partition decision a few days later. But importantly, it was published before the Independent State of Israel was even officially declared in May 1948. The entire document speaks about the war that the Arabs would wage should the Jews be given a state of their own. It breaks down the parties involved, and that the war would be waged by Arab nationalists from across the entire region, spearheaded by the Grand Mufti Amin al Husseini and the Muslim Brotherhood. It states that the entire Arab League formed in 1945 would support the Arab nationalists mostly indirectly because all the Arab nations were opposed to the Jews having a state of their own. It then details how the Arabs led by nationalists and religious extremists would wage jihad on the Jews and that they would use all forms of extreme warfare, mainly terrorism, to attack the Jews. The document gave the Jews two years of survival due to being vastly outnumbered by the Arabs, and even that would only be if the Jews would have some semblance of support from external sources. The document does not conclude that the Jews are the bad guys and it doesn’t state that the Jews are in the wrong. If anything, the entire document is highly damning of the Arabs who refuse to allow Jews to exist in a state of their own, and that one of the biggest disrupters in the region were the Soviets who wanted to create instability and propaganda to win favor with the Arabs against the US. Now the intentionally out-of-context cropped screenshots you added do in fact appear in the document, at the bottom of page 10, but they don’t reference the entire Zionist movement in the land. In fact the document was constructed to highlight the likely war that will be waged IF at the time the UNSCOP partition is approved and a Jewish state is formed. It clearly states three groups of Zionists who were active but very distinct from one another. In the event of a war, which the document states would only be waged by the Arabs, there were the Hagana who were the largest group of Zionists by far and who were left leaning and simply wanted to exist in their own state in their ancestral homeland and in peace with the Arabs. But it also highlights two far smaller groups formed only due to Arab pogroms and violence against the Jews, Irgun and the Stern Gang. The excerpts you used refer to only the latter extremists who totalled a whopping 600-800 people. That’s it. But the vast majority of Jews were not extremists unlike the millions of Arab nationalists and religious fundamentalists who were all extremists. The document concludes that the Arabs would wage war because they wanted to rule the entire region and that the Arabs would harm US interests by cutting off oil supplies and oil contracts. The US wanted to maintain oil contracts and infrastructure projects for their national interest and were concerned by the UN partition plan. In summary, the Arabs would never allow a Jewish state and would never stop the wars and terror until all Jews were killed or run out of the region or submitted to total Arab rule.
