There was heavy pressure on the DVAC by the DMK government to not register FIR into the Adani coal import scam and instead close the Preliminary Enquiry even though glaring evidence is available of Adani buying 3800 KCal/ Kg coal and fraudulently passing off it as 6000 KCal/ Kg coal to TANGEDCO. Also evidence of neighbouring states buying 6000 KCal/ kg at much lower cost than our state has also been submitted to DVAC. Durai IPS must answer why he has not yet field FIR into this 6000 Crores coal import scam by Adani and few others?

One of the points said by The Hindu was TVK fielding just one SC/ST candidate against some social media post that said 28.
