Unfortunately, there is very little loyalty in the sport unlike in decades past.

@RealEricTheRed Do I pay more attention if they stay in state, absolutely. Color me a fan of players that grow up in WI and go onto do great things. We moved to TX in 2022, the options for kids here to excel vs WI is greater. We need more WI kids to grow those opportunities and structure.

Good for Jalen and Knueppel, and it's cool they did good, but it just doesn't do anything for me.

The state of Wisconsin has a homegrown NBA All Star that’s averaging almost a triple-double and I feel like it’s not talked about or celebrated much? Maybe I’m wrong. It’s been amazing to see what Jalen has turned himself into. Proud of how many great athletes are coming from the state!

My relationship with Ned crashed after he asked me to go on the DL and I said no.
I asked if they would sign me guaranteed for the 09 season if I went on the DL he said no.
He didn’t pitch me again really after that.
It wasn’t until Dale Sveum took over that I pitched again I would have been able to give you guys more of this ⬇️ that year.
Then I possibly could have had not been misused the next year getting me hurt effectively ending my MLB career. #Milwaukee #Thisismycrew #Brewers

@CamilleMonae No, not in the least. In today's game, he is the gold standard of loyalty. Now, will I be pissed at ownership, yes. Not for trading him as he deserves to win; but for saddling him with Doc as a coach and some questionable roster decisions, they had a core and broke it up.

🚨BREAKING: ICE/Border Patrol agents were filmed assaulting U.S. citizens outside a HIGH SCHOOL in Minneapolis, pepper-spraying students as agents swarmed the school entrance.
Let that sink in.
School administrators and staff desperately tried to get agents off school property, while ushering students away from armed federal agents.
Chaos. Panic. Children running for safety.
And yes… agents pepper-sprayed STUDENTS.
This didn’t happen by accident.
This happened because the Trump administration stripped schools of their “sensitive location” protections, opening the door for ICE and Border Patrol to operate on school grounds.
In plain terms:
The federal government intentionally removed protections that once kept armed agents away from children, and now we are watching the predictable result… kids being assaulted with chemical weapons at school.
Outside a high school.
In broad daylight.
On U.S. soil.
This is not “border security.”
This is state violence.
And it’s being unleashed on children.

Investigate it fully, release the findings transparently (if the administration knows how) and the clear or prosecute.

This is preposterous.
First of all, she's not waving the officers through and has no right to do so even if she were. She is waving another car through, before the officers approach her car.
Second, the officers are not randomly searching her, they are approaching her vehicle because she is violating the law: namely, she is obstructing a lawful enforcement operation. You're not allowed to walk up to or drive up to people who are enforcing the law to make it harder for them to do their jobs.
Third, this defense attorney is drawing a meaningless distinction between an ICE officer and a "real police officer." Again, you're not allowed to interrupt a lawful enforcement operation, which is exactly what this woman was doing.
Fourth, the officer didn't discharge his weapon to prevent her from fleeing. When he discharged his weapon, she had pointed the vehicle at him and pressed the gas. He discharged his weapon in self defense, and other angles of the video show the woman *clearly* hit the officer with her car while accelerating.
The gaslighting is off the charts and I'm having none of it. This guy was doing his job. She tried to stop him from doing his job. When he approached her car, she tried to hit him.
A tragedy? Absolutely. But a tragedy that falls on this woman and all of the radicals who teach people that immigration is the one type of law that rioters are allowed to interfere with.

I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus. It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her. ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her. Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable. I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.
