@KYGolfHoles That’s similar to hole 2 (used to be 11) at Wildwood CC. Challenging. I appreciate the immediate choice to decide if you’re gonna risk it or layup and get on in 3. I never layup…lol
English

@JonasLGray In no way am I throwing shade at CJ. Because I think he will step up, but is it concerning that he’s torching Chris Ash’s defense like this? Ash had a lackluster start to last year too. And that with the combination of an offensive scheme of throwing screens lost the CFP bid

I still think the world of CJ Carr, but I’ll feel as confident as ever in him and this Notre Dame football team’s chances to win a National Championship next year if he shows he can successfully add timely runs. If he isn’t a run threat at all, not sure he can win the Heisman as much as I want him to. #GoIrish

CJ Carr demonstrated A+ quarterbacking during Notre Dame's scrimmage today. Worked the whole field. Often found his third or fourth reads for productive gains. Made plays with pressure in his face. Accurate to all levels of the field. I've only been around for a few years, but I've never seen a Notre Dame quarterback command an offense in practice like Carr did today.

@engineeringolf My Mother-in-law worked at a non-profit charity that provides “dreams” for children with chronic medical conditions. They had a golf scramble. PXG was a sponsor. PXG provided SWAG and then charged the charity full price for the hats, towels, and giveaways afterwards

@RiggsBarstool Riggs has been catching a lot of grief for this take, but nobody is talking about the clergy at church today wearing red

@YahooSports You hate to see a historically successful team from IN picking up its ball and going home because it was left out of the playoff to determine the national champion…smh

@ND_unitracker Gotta have metallic gold pants instead of the mustard yellow ones

@RecruitsBama Bama picking up its ball and going home?

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Alabama will most likely cancel its upcoming home-and-home series with Ohio State, according to Paul Finebaum
This is largely because of the move from eight conference games to nine in the SEC
The Crimson Tide are scheduled to play the Buckeyes in 2027 and 2028, but Finebaum says he “sincerely doubts the Alabama game is going to happen based on what he’s heard from Alabama’s athletic director.”
He also mentioned that the Crimson Tide is in a “shaky situation” and that HC Kalen DeBoer is “in trouble” 😬
Would you like to see Alabama and Ohio State play each other in the regular season? 🤔

@paddy_mccormick @WeAreRecruit @RedditCFB 8/16 since the beginning of the BCS era. Not most numerically, but most compared to everyone else who have 3, 3, and 0
English

What’s really funny is that the Committee justified flipping Notre Dame and Alabama between week 13 and 14 on the strength of Alabama’s close and gritty win over Auburn.
Tom Fornelli@TomFornelli
Nine Power Four teams finished the 2025 season without a win against an FBS team with a winning record. Auburn Boston College Maryland Missouri North Carolina Oklahoma State Purdue South Carolina Tennessee
English

@WeAreRecruit @claybwells10 @RedditCFB 7 of 16 since 2000…in the SEC if you got 7 of 16 questions right on the test, you got most of them right…lol
English

@claybwells10 @WeAreRecruit @RedditCFB There really is no excuse for it. Maybe ND should join the SEC so when they lay an egg against a team with a winning record ESPN can continuously remind us that they’re a good bad team
English

@paddy_mccormick @WeAreRecruit @RedditCFB It shouldn’t have been a game consider how good Notre Dame is and how overrated the SEC is. Especially in Notre Dame’s home stadium
English

@claybwells10 @WeAreRecruit @RedditCFB Not asking to change results. You asked how…that’s a clear example of how it could be possible.
English

@paddy_mccormick @WeAreRecruit @RedditCFB Yeah bad missed call. If we’re going back and changing the results of games based on bad calls retroactively, I’ll take a couple more banners hanging in Sanford Stadium
English

@WeAreRecruit @paddy_mccormick @RedditCFB How did big bad Michigan and Notre Dame lose to a couple of overrated SEC teams??
English

@BoxScore_FB @Ten12Network They should beef up that schedule with FCS schools like SEC schools
English

@claybwells10 @RedditCFB 1) ND played 0 FCS schools. 10 wins against FBS schools, Bama had 8 wins against FBS schools.
2) Bama beat 4 teams who couldn’t beat teams with winning records. ND beat 2.
Has the SEC fallen off that hard that you’re really trying to argue that their shitty teams aren’t shitty?
English

Below average isn’t accurate, at least not for 3 of them, but I agree with the sentiment. That’s not the argument though. The argument is that those 4 (or 3) are better than 7 of the teams Notre Dame beat, at least on par with 2 of the teams Notre Dame beat, and slightly worse than Notre Dame’s best win. And on top of that they beat two teams better than Notre Dame’s worse win.
