Yesterday, I texted our gateman to come and collect his Easter rice. I told him to come with his plate because I had run out of takeaway packs. He replied, “Don’t worry ma.” I was a bit surprised because this is something I always do during festive periods. The only difference this time was the plate. I didn’t think much of it… Until my neighbour called me later and said the gateman reported me. He said I disrespected him, how can I ask a married man to bring a plate like a beggar just to collect food? I’m honestly still in shock. It was never that deep for me… I was just trying to share what I had. But I guess sometimes, what feels like kindness to one person… can feel like disrespect to another. Did I actually do something wrong?

Story: APC Chieftain found dead in hotel elevator shaft after party convention. Initial reports claimed Kano’s assistant organizing secretary, Abdulsalami Ginsau was stuck in a lift. But new reports have confirmed that he fell into the pit of the elevator shaft at Chida Hotel, Utako Abuja. “I witnessed one of the most heartbreaking things this morning. Married women are really suffèring. So right opposite my house, there’s a public compound in it and and i was just standing at my balcony when one of the tenants of the yard entered backing her little baby, she went straight to her door, searched her bag for key but couldn’t find the key, she looked so exhausted, i was watching her searching for the key but she couldn’t find it. meanwhile about an hour before this incident, i saw her hurriedly taking her 5kids to school, she was carrying their lunch boxes and carrying her last baby while they rushed for school run. So im very sure it was from the school run she had returned from but couldn’t find the key to her room. Jos Crisis: President Tinubu Orders Installation Of 5,000 Surveillance Cameras In Plateau President Bola Tinubu on Thursday directed the deployment of over 5,000 surveillance cameras across Plateau State following the recent k+llings in Jos.
